It was Saturday and Lydia was getting ready to go to the club. She was a little later than she had been before because she had afternoon lacrosse practice.
Nik checked the time on his phone and sighed. He hoped she was just late. He looked behind him and saw Rebekah dancing with everyone before turning back around and ordering another drink. As he sat his drink down someone grabbed his face and turned it to the side and kissed him before he could see who it was.
Rebekah walked out of the crowd and saw some girl kissing her brother.
Lydia smiled as she walked into the club and then she looked at the bar and saw another girl kissing Nik. Rebekah's eyes went to the door and saw Lydia standing with her jaw dropped. The girl ran away from Nik and he looked at Rebekah with a confused expression. He saw she was looking at the door and looked that way to see an angry Lydia.
"Shit," Nik said, jumping up.
Lydia turned on her heal and pulled out her phone and texted the person she always did when she needed out of somewhere fast. She texted Derek.
Lydia made it to the curb before Nik and Rebekah sped to her.
"Love," Nik started.
"I don't want to hear it," Lydia said coldly, "you had a chance and now it's gone."
Lydia saw a motorcycle pull up out of the corner of her eye. Derek handed Lydia a helmet.
"Goodbye Nik,"Lydia sighed as she put on her helmet and jumped onto the back of Derek's motorcycle.
Derek sped off.
"You just had to kiss that girl," Rebekah sighed.
"I didn't. She kissed me," Nik argued.
"And you didn't instantly push her away? Or could you not tell that it wasn't Lydia because I think after all these years no matter how drunk you get you'll always know her lips," Rebekah half yelled.
Nik looked down at his feet.
"I'm leaving," Rebekah informed before speeding off.Derek pulled up to Lydia's house. Everyone ran outside seeing he was there.
Lydia got up and handed him the helmet.
"Do you need ANYTHING?" Derek asked, "helping you may be the complete opposite of what Peter wants me to do, but you'll always be my supreme alpha."
"No," Lydia sighed, "I'm fine."
"Do you want me to kill him?" Derek asked
"No, he's the original Hybrid. He'd kill you," Lydia whispered.
Derek clenched his jaw.
"If there is anything and I mean anything you need," Derek looked her in the eyes, "call me."
Lydia nodded and turned as he sped off.
"What was that about?" Scott asked.
"You know he's with the enemy, right!? First you're fucking a monster and now you're riding around with the enemy!" Ellen yelled.
"Shut up!" Lydia screamed as she ran passed all of them and into the house.
Dean turned and ran after her. They quickly ran up the stairs and into her room.
"What happened?" Dean asked.
"Ask your girlfriend," Lydia cried, "she was there."
"Ar-Are you okay?" Dean asked
"Does it look like I'm okay?" Lydia sat up revealing the makeup smeared from her tears.
Dean looked down and clenched his jaw before closing his eyes tightly.
"Do you want a cheeseburger?" He asked.
Lydia sniffled and nodded.
"Okay," Dean said, "I'll be back."
Dean walked down the stairs and was attacked with questions.
"What happened?"
"Is she okay?"
"Did anything bad happen?"
"Can I see her?"
"STOP!" Dean yelled at all of them, "just leave her alone. She- she needs time and a cheeseburger and possibly pie. I'm getting them and I'M going to be the one that talks to her and helps her through it because lord knows that none of you know what you're doing with her!"
Everyone looked down at their feet.
Dean walked out of the house and jumped into his car. He called Rebekah and got what she saw and what Nik told her and her whole view on what happened. He grabbed a huge bag of cheeseburgers from a fast food joint and then ran into the Walmart and bought an apple pie and some Guinness.
He walked into the house and up the stairs and into Lydia's room. She had changed into comfy clothes and took her makeup off and her hair out. He sat besides her and turned on her tv. Lydia dug into the bag and pulled out a cheeseburger and began eating it.
"You got bacon on it?" Lydia asked.
"Yes, just like you like," Dean smiled.
"Thank you," Lydia replied.
"Anytime."
The two sat and watched Game of Thrones reruns as they drank Guinness and ate burgers.
"You should probably try to talk to him about it," Dean told her, "I don't think he realised what was happening until it happened."
"He couldn't have been that drunk," Lydia replied, "it's not like we were dating anyway. I shouldn't be this upset."
"It's okay, you have a right to be upset. But I do think that he was caught off guard and completely confused with who was kissing him. Plus Rebekah said when she was talking to him about it outside the club he stumbled walking to his car so, seeing as he's the original Hybrid with a huge tolerance and HE stumbled, he had to be fucked up."
Lydia sighed.
"Just talk to him," Dean said, "he definitely didn't mean to not be kissing you. He'd trade everything for you and I know that for a fact."
"How?" Lydia asked.
"I talked to him a while back," Dean replied.
Lydia sighed, "I might after a while and by a while I mean when I'm done being upset, meaning after prom cause I have so much shit to focus on."
Dean sighed and chuckled, "Sam and I will be there. We got in to make sure the alpha doesn't go after you all there."
Lydia smiled.
"Bekah and Nik are going to be there, but I'm staying with my pack."
Dean chuckled, "I'm sure Bex will want to see you."
"Well she can but I don't want to be around her brother without my pack right there with me because I don't want to deal with it at prom," Lydia sighed.
Dean chuckled, "okay, okay. You can deal with him on Sunday, after prom Sunday, not the tomorrow Sunday."
Lydia chuckled lightly.
