Lydia woke up in her bunker in Mystic Falls. Nik was shaking in his sleep, fear plastered over his face. Lydia sat up, grabbing his hand, and leaned over him.

"My love," Lydia whispered in his ear, "wake up."

Nik whimpered as his head turned, still asleep.

Lydia took her hand and ran it through Nik's hair, kissing his forehead softly.

"Niki," Lydia whispered, "wake up, come on wake up."

Nik still shook in fear, not waking up.

"Nik help," Lydia said in a normal voice.

Nik shot up, grabbing her tightly and pulling her into him.

"What do you need, love?" He gasped.

"You were having a bad dream and I couldn't wake you up so..."

Nik chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead.

"Are you okay?" Lydia asked him.

"I'm fine... Always fine," Nik replied, clenching his jaw.

Lydia looked up at him.

"Niki..."

"You wanna know what happened, huh?" Nik sighed.

"I just want to know if you're really okay..."

"I'm fine," Nik told her, "it was just something that happened a long time ago. It doesn't matter. We're fine..." Nik paused before confirming, "We're fine."

They both looked up when the door opened. It was a sleepy Rebekah.

"Are you two okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, we're fine," Lydia replied.

"Lyd," Bex asked, "do you have any clothes I can borrow?"

"Yeah!" Lydia replied, jumping out of the bed and running to the closet.

She picked out a few jeans, and shirts for Bex to try before throwing a pair of converse at her.

"You can wear any combo of these until we get you some clothes," Lydia smiled.

"Thanks," Bex smiled before leaving the room.

When the door closed Lydia turned to Nik.

"How the hell did you know about this place? I don't remember ever telling you," Lydia spoke.

"You were half asleep when we got to town and I asked what hotel you wanted and you told me to take us here..." Nik lied.

Lydia had told him long ago where ALL of her bunkers were in case he ever needed to use one.

"Oh... You know, I have one of these bunkers in every town stateside, right?" Lydia smirked.

"Yeah, you told me when I carried you in here."

"Oh..." Lydia smiled, her cheeks growing red as she rubbed the back of her neck.

"We should probably get dressed," Nik stated.

Lydia nodded and put on her clothes, did her hair, and brushed her teeth.
