Lydia walked into the Grille and sat down at the bar.

"Why hello," a man smiled.

"Hi," Lydia said, not looking at him as she  summoned her drink.

"Be careful who you do that around, around here witchy," the man said.

"Like a vampire is going to rat on a Liba," Lydia mumbled.

"How do you know that?"

"I can smell you," Lydia said.

"Oh..."

"What's your name?" Lydia asked.

"Damon," he said, "Damon Salvatore."

"Salvatore with or without an E?"

"With...?"

"Ah," Lydia said, "well, I'm Lydia Marin."

Elena walked into the Grille and made eye contact with Lydia.

"Is that Katherine?" Lydia asked quietly.

"No," Damon said, "that's Elena Gilbert. Kitty Kats Doppelganger."

"Oof," Lydia said, "I'd rather the other Petrova."

"Really?"

"Katherine is fun," Lydia chuckled.

"How so?" Damon asked, proping his head on his hand.

"Kitty'd take me out and we'd kill people and she taught me everything about your breed of Vamps. You see, I am her favourite descendant," Lydia smiled.

"Descendant?"

"I'm part Petrova..." Lydia admitted with a sigh.

"No wonder you're so gorgeous..." Damon mumbled.

"Oh you think I'm pretty? You should see me in a crown," Lydia smiled.

Damon smiled and chuckled.

"Well," Damon said standing up, "Queen Lydia Marin," he put up his hand, "will you do me the honour of coming home with me?"

"Sure," Lydia laughed.

Elena walked up to them.

"Be careful with him," Elena said, "he's dangerous."

"Oh Honey," Lydia said, "I'll be the judge of that."

Lydia immediately wen through both Damon and Elena's heads.

"How can you be so stupid? I'm looking out for you because you're Tyler's cousin!" Elena half yelled.

"I don't need a two timing whore's protection. You're just a little tiny human running with things bigger and badder than herself, thinking that she's as big and bad as them. Now, Step Off Bitch." Lydia said.

Elena scoffed as Damon and Lydia walked passed her, not saying another word.

"Really?" Damon half laughed.

"Ugh, I hate humans," Lydia groaned.

Damon chuckled and drove them to the Salvatore Boarding house.
