Lydia sat in a meeting with her court, being completely bored and doodling, until she heard the court discussing other realms filled with Vampires, Werewolves, and Humans. The things she had heard only stories of. She knew her father was human. "Can I go there?" Lydia asked her court. "Your Highness," a member of the court said, "I do not think it wise for you to go to such lands. You may seem to be unkillable, but there is one thing out there that can put you down for good and he is there." Lydia slouched back in her chair. "I don't want to just survive," Lydia half-whispered, "I want to live. I need a love that consumes me, passion, adventure, and even a little danger. I just want to go." "Lydia," the member said, "your human side is showing." "It isn't even completely human! I'm part banshee and thanks to all the secrets the Marins have of bastarding that hasn't ever truly been revealed I have a small part of wolf in me!" Lydia yelled. The court looked at her. Lydia sighed and calmly said, "I apologize. I just if I don't go out and see the worlds I'll become her. Aunt Carol is there, maybe she can set me up in her realm." The Court Member sighed, "You don't have a hand of the queen, who is to rule when you are away? Cheryl?" "Yes! Please!" Lydia said, jumping up excitedly. "Are you absolutely certain you want to stay with your mother's sister? She looks exactly like her." The member asked. "I killed my mother. If Carol tries what mother did, I'll get rid of her too." Lydia sighed.  The member sighed again, "We've always done everything we could to keep you safe. We sent you to the Elves to train you in sword fighting, let you go to Hogwarts to learn magic... and now you're leaving to the most dangerous world out there. To a town that used to be riddled with murder, where it all began... Mystic Falls." Lydia chuckled, "Elizabeth Marin can suck it, okay?" the members chuckled. "Who knows, I might find my real father." Lydia said with a smile. "That would be nice. I will look forward to meeting him. I know you will find him, darling." The one speaking member said, kissing the top of Lydia's forehead. The members had always looked out for Lydia and helped her after what her parents did to her. "Goodbye, old friends." Lydia said with a smile. "Goodbye, our queen." The replied, all smiling with tears in their eyes. They let Lydia open a portal and step through it into the great town of Mystic Falls.
