Lydia walked into a liba hospital with her boyfriend to find out more about the baby.
"So from what we can tell," the doctor said, "it's a boy, which is a huge shocker considering Marin's rarely have boys anymore."
"Isn't that kind of the guys fault though?" Lydia asked.
"Yes, and it seems the Marin's rarely pick the right ones," the doctor replied.
After a while of figuring things out Lydia and Nik got ready to leave.
"Oh, and Lydia," the doctor said, "thank you. For breaking the curse."
Lydia smiled, "Anytime."
Lydia and Nik teleported back to his house.
"I'm bored," Kol groaned
"Go find something to do," Lydia replied.
"I need entertainment," Kol continued.
Lydia rolled her eyes at him.
"Well," Nik sighed, "go on. Have at it."
"It's not fun to go alone," Kol smirked, "join me, Nik! It's the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart."
"Okay, why not? I didn't have enough to drink last night."
Nik looked to Lydia.
"Will you be joining us love?" Nik asked.
"She will not!" Rebekah yelled, "She is on a cleanse! A no booze cleanse, brother."
"I know, Rebekah," Nik smiled, "just was wondering if she would like to accompany us is all."
Nik smiled down at Lydia and kissed her forehead.
"Are you going to be okay here?" Nik asked.
"I'm going to see if Bex wants to go to the mall or something," Lydia smiled.
"Do you need my card?" Nik asked.
"No!" Lydia replied, "You already spend too much money on me. Let me spend my own today."
"Whatever you'd like, love," Nik smiled.
Lydia smiled and pulled him down to kiss her.
"I'll see you later, then," Lydia smiled, "I love you."
"I love you too," Nik replied.
Nik turned and he and his brother were starting to leave when Rebekah called after them.
"Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around in it!"
"Just like you, Bekah!"Kol yelled back.
Rebekah threw her shoe at him and barely missed.
"Good riddance! Both of you!" Rebekah yelled.
Kol and Nik laughed as the door shut behind them.
Rebekah turned to Lydia.
"Umm... don't be mad at me, but I may or may not have-"
"Fucked Damon? I know he texted me. He's decided to stay in Mystic Falls I guess. Not that I really care," Lydia interrupted.
"I thought you two were cool," Rebekah said.
"We aren't friends but we aren't enemies."
Rebekah nodded.
"Want to go shopping?" Lydia smiled to change the subject.
Rebekah smiled and nodded.
Lydia climbed into the jeep when Nik texted her.
N: if you can try to figure out what mother was planning?
L: I'll go through Damon's head. I still have access to his.
N: Thanks, love.
L: anytime.
Lydia put her phone down and pulled out of the driveway.
"So are you and Niklaus going to get married then?" Rebekah asked.
"Why?" Lydia half choked in surprise.
"You're having his baby," Rebekah smiled.
"I'm having his son," Lydia smiled at her.
Rebekah smiled and clapped with an excited squeal.
Lydia laughed.
"Where to first?" Lydia asked, "we're going to have to meet Damon somewhere for lunch, keep that in mind."
"We could hit Macy's, H&M perhaps, maybe urban outfitters?" Rebekah suggested.
"And, my personal favourite," Lydia smiled, "Hottopic!"
"That emo store? I didn't know you were still emo," Rebekah smiled.
"I'm not emo they just have cool band shirts and fandom stuff," Lydia replied.
"Honey, tell that to your Spotify playlist," Rebekah smirked.
"Shut up!" Lydia laughed.
Lydia's phone vibrated.
"Check that?" She asked Bex.
"It says Victoria Secret is having a PINK sale..." Rebekah read.
"We shall go there too then!" Lydia smiled.
Lydia and Rebekah walked around the mall until it was lunch time. Lydia called Damon.
"Damon," Lydia said when he answered, "Will you meet me and Bex for lunch?"
"Sure, Chipotle?" He asked.
"Yeah!"
"I'll meet you there."
The three ordered and sat down with their food. Rebekah held a normal conversation with Damon as Lydia searched his head. What she found made her stomach turn.
"Excuse me," she said, getting up and walking to the bathroom.
Lydia threw up a few times before she texted Nik.
L: I need to meet you somewhere alone, Bex and I are almost done with lunch I'm going to drop her and then you need to meet me in the woods where you broke the curse.
N: yes love.
Lydia walked out of the bathroom and over to the table. They had all finished their food. Damon hugged Lydia tightly.
Lydia looked up at Damon in his eyes and saw so much regret.
"Elena's an idiot," Lydia said before turning and grabbing Rebekah and running to her car.
Lydia dropped off Bex before running to where she told Nik to be.
Nik has beat her by a minute.
Lydia started hyperventilating and Nik ran and grabbed her.
"Hey, What is it? You're okay," He said.
"We're all linked. She kills one of us and we all go," Lydia told him.
Nik's eyes were wide.
"I don't want to die," Lydia cried as her hands went to her stomach.
Nik wrapped his arms around her.
"You won't," he said quickly, "I'll fix it. I'll fix everything, okay?"
Lydia nodded as she continued to cry into him and he held her for as long as she needed him to.
