Lydia went to school like normal, but everyday she and stiles and Scott were talking through their classes about who the big bad alpha could be.
"Allison knows right?" Stiles asked Scott
"No..."
"Yeah she does," Lydia said, "she said if her dad found out she was dating a werewolf he'd be pissed. We talk about you being a wolf all the time."
Scott's eyes were wide.
"What are we talking about?" Allison asked as she sat down.
"Scott being a wolf," Lydia smiled.
"Oh yeah! Super hot, Scotty," Allison chuckled.
Scott's jaw dropped.
"You knew?" He asked.
Allison nodded.
"How?" Scott questioned.
"I went to Lydia's and they're hunters and I figured out my parents are hunters and I asked Lydia who all the monsters in town were that she knew of so we could protect them."
"And you are one of my monsters now so," Lydia sighed, "I aim to protect you from everything. You're family now."
"And you're okay with... with what I am?" Scott asked Allison.
"Of course," Allison smiled, " I won't stop loving you over what you are. It's who you are that matters."
Lydia smiled at the cute couple in front of her.
Lydia finished out the school week and went home to brainstorm on who the alpha could be.
"Come," Jo told her, "we're going clubbing."
Lydia looked up at her with a confused expression.
"Last time you had a little fun!" Jo laughed.
Lydia's facial expression said 'really?'
Jo laughed and pulled Lydia into her car.
Lydia walked in and saw Nik again.
She walked up to him and sat by him.
"Is this going to be a weekly thing, love?" He chuckled.
Lydia started at him with her lips barely parted. She had been called that before she thought, but she couldn't remember.
"Hmm?"
Lydia shook herself out of it and tried to find words.
"Umm," she put her hand to her forehead, "Jo keeps dragging me with her. I need to find something super important out, but here I am."
"What do you need to find out, love? Perhaps I could help," Nik smiled.
"It's not something that I should really discuss," Lydia sighed.
Nik raised an eyebrow.
"Monsters?" He whispered
Lydia's eyes went wide and she looked at him.
"You know I am one, right?" Nik asked.
"You're bro a monster," Lydia chuckled, "You're nice and cute."
"Doesn't mean I'm not a monster," Nik said.
"Well," Lydia sighed, "not all monsters do monstrous things."
"You really don't know me," Nik laughed.
Lydia shrugged, "Oh well. Could be worse."
"There's nothing worse than me, love," Nik smirked.
"Hmm... well, you're being nice to me when some alpha werewolf is trying to kill my friends and I might be collateral damage so," Lydia shrugged, "you may be the scariest thing to walk the planet but you aren't pure evil."
"Werewolf, you say?" Nik smirked, "I could help with that."
Lydia raised an eyebrow.
"I'm the Original Hybrid," Nik smirked.
Lydia's face hardened and she broke out in goosebumps. She shook herself out of it.
"So," Lydia put her hand in her hair, "you could find out who it is possibly? Just don't turn him cause my buddy needs to kill him or something."
Nik looked at Lydia and saw a hint of fear in her eyes as she spoke.
"You're scared of me," he said.
"Me? Scared? No... no no no no no. Did I mention no?"
Nik chuckled.
"I'll find the alpha for you and I will just tell you who it is and let you handle it from there, savy?" Nik smirked.
Lydia smiled at him and nodded.
Jo looked to the bar and saw Lydia talking to the same guy. She decided she was going to walk over. She wrapped her arms around Lydia.
"What's up, sister?" Jo smirked.
"Talking," Lydia sighed.
"About?"
"What I'm hunting to ensure my friends safety," Lydia smirked.
Jo took a step back.
"He's a Hunter?" Jo asked.
"Nope, he's..." Lydia couldn't tell Jo the truth. They'd hunt him until they died.
"He's like me," Lydia lied.
Jo nodded.
"Well, welcome to our crazy lives," jo smirked before running off.
"I'm like you?" Nik laughed.
"Well I didn't want them to hunt you and die now did I?" Lydia asked.
Nik chuckled and took another drink.

Lydia looked up and smirked.
"Shots?" Lydia asked.
"Remember what happened last weekend when we took shots?" Nik asked.
Lydia yelled to the bartender, "WE NEED SHOTS!"
Nik laughed.
Lydia woke up the next morning with pills and a water on the table, her clothes neatly folded on the windowsill, and Nik cuddling her when he was so obviously awake. She groaned as she sat up to take the meds.
She looked back down at him.
"Thank you," she mumbled.
"For what?"
Lydia raised the bottle and he nodded.
"You're welcome, love."
Lydia laid back down with him. She saw the ring on the necklace on his chest. She felt almost like it was calling to her.
"Where'd you get that?" She asked
"The ring? Long ago when I turned," he replied.
Lydia nodded.
"Why do you still have it if you can walk in the sun without it?" She asked.
"Incase there is a day where I can no longer," he replied.
The two eventually got up and got dressed. Nik drove her to her house.
"You know you don't have to wait all week to see me, right?" Nik smiled, "call me and I'll come see you."
Lydia smiled, "Okay. Oh! Don't forget to find that alpha!"
"I won't, love," he smiled.
Lydia stepped out of his car and walked into her house. Ellen and Bobby were waiting by the door.
"Again?" Ellen asked.
"It was the same guy, chill," Lydia smirked.
Bobby rolled his eyes.
"He's going to find me that alpha," Lydia smirked.
"He's a Hunter?" Bobby asked, "they're the worst kind, Lydia!"
"No," she replied, "He's not a hunter."
"So he's a monster!?" Ellen half yelled.
"Not all monsters do monstrous things."
