6 (Pt. 1)

2 Days Later

Kai woke up to the sound of his alarm. He didn't want to wake up because it's a school day and he didn't feel like going, but there was a test today and Kai felt like atleast trying on it so the grade atleast wouldn't be 0. Plus if he goes, he gets to meet Soobin there...

He sat up and yawned. He then wiped his eyes with the back of his right arm. He looked to the left, his eyes still feeling heavy and saw the time on his alarm. It was 06:15 AM... He looks at the alarm, confused, because he doesn't remember changing the alarm from 06:45 to 06:15...

He shifted his legs to the side of the bed and stood up. His legs didn't feel like walking at all... He felt really tired because he was having a Marvel movie marathon last night... He regrets doing it, now...

He walks to the living room and checked if anyone has woken up yet besides him... He sees Beomgyu asleep on the couch, the tv still on, the channel was set to a movie channel, and cookies on the table. Not a surprise there, considering he does this almost every weekend... He turned off the tv and put the cookies at the dinner table before turning around and looking at his sleeping hyung

Kai smiled at the sight and decided to wake his hyung after he takes a shower and gets changed. He went back to his room and grabbed a towel and his uniform. He went to his bathroom and took a shower

He went outside of the bathroom to his bedroom, already changed, but still drying his hair with his towel. He checks the time on his bed-side table and saw that it was 06.29 AM and his school starts at 7.30 AM and his school, again, wasn't that far from where he lived so he had a bunch of time for him to just do nothing. He cheered mentally. He finished drying his hair and put it on the bed before starting to walk to his bedroom door

He went outside his room to the living room and saw his hyung has changed positions from the last time he saw him. He giggled at him before walking up to him slowly. He sat at the couch near the edge. He started shaking Beomgyu's legs but nothing worked. Kai smeared a wide smile while coming up with a cheeky idea. He came up with an idea that will be so funny that it hurts... litterally.

He takes both of Beomgyu's legs and start pushing up, pointing them up to the ceiling. He then continues to push forward slowly. At this point Kai was giggling at what he's doing to his hyung. Since Beomgyu is quite flexible, it takes a while before it starts to hurt. Kai is pushing and is surprised that Beomgyu could make a 30° angle with his legs and body, though he continues pushing until Beomgyu is awake.

Beomgyu opened his eyes widely as he starts to push on his legs against Kai's force from the other side. "Finally you're awake..." Kai says when he realizes his hyung is pushing against his force. He starts laughing loudly. It must've woken up Taehyun because Kai hears the door to Taehyun's room swing open and glates at them filled with anger for waking him up.

"What's going on here!?" Taehyun asks them with a glare. "You know I hate being woken up- owh." He starts giggling as he leans on his door frame and crossing his arms over his chest when he sees the two boys playing around

"Yah! Kai stop! It hurts!" Beomgyu shouts at him

"No... you left the tv on again last night... You know it wastes elctical bills right? This is your punishment... I will stop if you promise to never do it again." Kai says with a playful tone, trying so hard not to break a smile

"Okay! Okay! I promise! Just please... It hurts!" Beomgyu pleads to the younger

"Alright... As long as you don't do it again, I won't wake you up like that again..." Kai pulls his hands away from Beomgyu's legs and he immidiately gets his head playfully kicked with Beomgyu's legs. "OWWW!" Kai says tone playful as if he was trying to get attention.

"I'm gonna go get ready, brat." Beomgyu says with a smile on his face as he stands up from the couch and triyng to leave the living room to his room

"By the way, did anyone change my alarm?" Kai asks gaining Beomgyu's attention as he stops and turns to look at the younger

"Not me..." Taehyun says. "It was Soobin... He changed it when he went to our apartment 2 days ago, before we went to the arcade..." Beomgyu explains to the younger

"What!? Why!?" Kai asks, confused. "Well he asked if it's normal for you not to be awake by 10... we told him that it's a usual thing for you to wake up late... So, he went inside your room and decided to change the alarm..." Beomgyu explained as Taehyun just nods his head right after

'He- He cares about when I wake up?' He thought to himself and didn't realize he was slightly smiling and blushing at his thoughts. He covers his face with both his

"Well I'm getting ready... See you guys in a bit..." Beomgyu leaves the living room and enters his room and shuts the door behind him to go get ready. "Me too... you should study while waiting for us since you seem prepared already, I was told that you will have a test today and I want you to atleast get an average grade on it..." Taehyun pleads to the younger

"Okay hyung... I also want my grades to improve so I could pass this semester and this year. I mean, I haven't gotten held back a year yet and I want to keep that streak... 'cause I'm afraid what my parents would say if I do get held back..." Kai looks down at his feet and starts thinking about his parents and starts looking worried

Taehyun noticed the sudden change in his actions and tries to snap him back to reality. "Well! I'm gonna go take a shower and I expect to see you studying when I finish..." Kai lifts his head and smiles at the older. He gave a small nod and Taehyun nodded and smiled at him back. He goes to his room and shuts the door

Kai stands up and smiles, trying to lighten his mood back. He goes back to his room to study for the upcoming test today and hopefully can have some spare time to play games on his phone.
