Kai and Beomgyu were currently out on one of the cafeteria tables while waiting for their friends to grab lunch together.

Soobin at a point were with them but forgot that he had to talk to Ms. Irene about something... Kai was talking to Ms. Irene about his project when Ms. Irene suddenly told him that she needed to talk to Soobin for a while. So after he finished talking to Ms. Irene, he left the class and went up to Soobin who was outside already waiting for him, that Ms. Irene needed to talk to him. Soobin and Kai agreed to just meet at one of the tables.

On the way there, Kai met Beomgyu in the hallways and invited him to sit along... When they reached the table, Kai decided that he'll tell Beomgyu about art class earlier.

Worst. Mistake. Ever.

"Kai... please just buy me coffee... Pretty please..."

"But I got it off of my own work... and wasting it on you is shameful..." Kai says jokingly to the begging boy beside him.

"It was just a painting! I could've done better! Hmm... please?" Beomgyu continues on with his begging as he makes a pout and at that moment, his eyes seemed sparkly and so reflective of the sunlight.

"So? You get more allowance than I do anyways, bitch-" Kai's irritated remark gets cut off by Beomgyu's sudden and loud gasp. Beomgyu put his hand on top of his heart as he gasped, gesturing his state of 'shock'. There was a small pause before Beomgyu made his oh-so-awaited shocked face.

"Kai? Thee Huening Kai? Thee one and only baby I truly care about? Disrespecting me by not only not buying me the coffee I deserve as your best friend, but also cursing right in front of my face...? I am really disappointed in you..." Beomgyu said as he still had his hand over his chest, 'shocked' by the baby cursing

'Baby'. The word that Kai just hates getting called by. He is technically 17 now and he HATES it when people call him a precious little baby... Though he admits he does act like one once in a while, but he does it to either cheer up the mood or get attention, mostly wanting attention. What gets Kai frustrated is when people don't treat him the same like others that are the same age as him. Getting treated as if he's still an elementary student... or an actual newborn...

"Stop that! I told you that I didn't need your mother persona anymore... At one point it seems that you care for me, and that's why that persona appeared, and I liked it back then! But now I am 17 and can fully take care of myself! So stop treating me like a baby!" Kai retorts back to Beomgyu and huffed out some air through his nose as he folded his arms against his chest. Kai then just plops his head onto the table as he felt restless waiting for his friends.

"Awww... My baby's all gwumpy..." A voice said as the owner of said voice approaches Kai and Beomgyu. Kai's head shot up and his straight face turns to a smile as he realizes who it was.

"Hi Soobin! Where were yo- wait a minute..." Beomgyu paused himself as he looked at Kai and Soobin with his fingers in a pointing manner. He looked at the two boys back and forth repeatedly before continuing. "He just called you 'baby'. Why aren't you mad at him!?" Beomgyu asks, irritation could be heard as he said it.

"Because he's-" Kai paused.

'Why don't I get mad? I literally just scolded Beomgyu but when he says it, I feel like I just heard an angel's voice calling out to me...

AHHHH! SOOBIN WHAT IN THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!'

Kai didn't say anything in a while. Kai was panicking inside, but neither Soobin or Beomgyu knew that.
