6 (Pt. 4)

Kai and Soobin left the book store quite soon after the police had left to the station and review the security tapes over to make sure that they can prove that the old man did it. They were nearing the apartment, Kai and Soobin walking side-by-side, so close that their hands at times brush off of each other and every time they do, Soobin's face becomes flushed with red, and Kai being the oblivious kid, doesn't even know what he's doing to Soobin's weak heart.

Kai looks down at his feet, thinking of something. The kiss. Well, the multiple kisses. He then stopped in his tracks as he continued to look down. Soobin continued walking, not aware that the younger had stopped walking. He then didn't feel the occasional younger's hand brush off his. He turns his head to the right and he didn't see Kai. His eyes widened and he choked on his own saliva, worried of what happened to him, thinking of the worst. But when he turned around, he let out a sigh of relief when he saw that Kai had only stopped and Soobin hadn't walked that far away from him. Soobin's relieved face turns to a face filled with confusion and concern when he noticed that Kai's head was hanging down, looking at his feet.

"What is it? Does it hurt again? Or is it cold? Here take my jacket again..." Soobin said as he walked over to Kai, almost sprinting all the while taking his jacket off. When Kai didn't respond, Soobin just stops in front of him and smiles, using both his hands to wrap the jacket around him. When Soobin finished wrapping the jacket around Kai, he still didn't get any response from the younger. He then rests his hands on Kai's shoulders, trying to push him away and pull him back and forth, well technically shaking the poor boy to make him start talking. But as soon as he put both of his hands on Kai's shoulders, Kai wraps his arms around Soobin's waist, pulling him closer as Kai rested his head on Soobin's chest.

"What is it? Anything wrong?" Soobin then takes his hand off of Kai's shoulders and wrap them around the younger. Kai looks up to see Soobin, dead in the eyes because Soobin, obviously, was mesmerized by what the younger was doing and was already looking down at Kai. "Did anyone ever tell you that you have the most prettiest eyes?" Soobin said and Kai pouted, pretending to be annoyed by the older' use of grammar. "You can't use pretti-est when you already have the word 'most' in your sentence..." Kai said as he emphasized the words est and most. "But your eyes are 2x the prettiest..." Soobin sliding in a flirt causing Kai to hide his face on Soobin's chest in embarrassment.

"Let's go back to my apartment. I'm tired..." Kai said to Soobin, his voice a bit muffled as he still had his face buried on Soobin's chest. "Alright, alright. Can we let go of the hug now?" Soobin asked as he chuckled a bit. "Mmm... why?" Kai whined. "Because we can't walk like this..." Soobin said as he giggled a bit louder. "But you promise you won't leave me..." Kai whined to the older again. "Hmmm... how 'bout if we hold hands? Will you let go?" Kai immediately let go of the hug and went to Soobin's right and held Soobin's right hand with his left. "Let's go." Kai said, pulling the older as he led the way, again. This time, Soobin wasn't the only one blushing, but Kai was as well.

They reached the lobby of the apartment and they went straight for the elevators. Kai pressing the up button and they both wait for the elevator. As they wait for the elevator, Soobin got a text, his phone buzzing like hell. He took his phone out of his pocket and saw the ID that was texting him, Junnie.

The elevator doors opened up and Kai went in first. Soobin went in right after, still glued to his phone. Kai went and pressed the button. Kai looked at Soobin who was staring at his phone, he made different reactions. Kai was staring at Soobin and slightly felt jealous. Well, a lot.
