21 • Arc 1 Finale (Christmas Special)

With the frost creeping up towards their window and the white snow falling outside, five boys in their pajamas, seated together in an apartment's living room were enjoying the night of Christmas Eve as friends. With winter break, school was the last thing on their minds.

"Okay, okay! Mhm. Hear ye, hear ye! Welcome to Secret Santa 2019, a tradition's first of more to come." Beomgyu reads aloud from a blank paper he rolled to look like a scroll.

"Our secret santas have selected their targets randomly through folded pieces of paper 3 days ago at lunch. Hopefully the secret santas have tailored their gifts to their target's upmost expectations. After a receiver gets their gifts, it is then their turn to present their gift." Beomgyu continues.

"Lastly, opening gifts will be done later together after everyone has received their gifts, so don't open it beforehand. Switching gifts is prohibited. Any questions?" Beomgyu finishes.

They looked at each other before shaking their heads together.

Before they started, they moved so that the secret santa would be presenting who their gift was for. Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Yeonjun moved to the couch, while Kai and Soobin sat comfortably on the floor, their backs on said couch.

"So, who's first?" Yeonjun asks with his present in hand.

"I can go first." Kai stood up from the couch. He stood in front and faced everyone, a well-wrapped gift in his hand.

"Who's it for?" Soobin asks, the tone of expectation clearly present.

"Who else could it be for?" Kai pouts and extended his gift to Soobin.

Soobin smiled wide, thanking the gods for his luck. But just as he was about to reach for the gift...

"Here you go, Yeonjun." Kai lifted his gift away from Soobin.

Soobin's jaw dropped in disbelief as everyone else's face lit up. Taehyun and Beomgyu started laughing as Yeonjun received the gift.

"Merry Christmas, Junnie..." Kai smiled as he let go of the gift and started tending the now sulking pouty Soobin. He sat back down next to Soobin and gave him a side hug.

"I guess it's my turn..." Yeonjun stands up, his gift held behind his back.

"And my gift is for..." He held it to build anticipation. He scanned his audience and found Beomgyu's eyes to be glowing a bit.

"...Taehyunnie! Merry Christmas!" He handed the present to Taehyun who was definitely not expecting that. Everyone turned to look as the exchange was done.
