Kai walked slowly to school. Making sure to take his time since he finished preparing himself rather quickly this morning. He left his hyungs to eat breakfast and take their time.

Kai checked on his phone and saw that he still had about 30 minutes before his first period. He slid his phone back in his pocket and continued his way to school.

He could already see the creme-coloured building that had a few students entering the doorway, just as what Kai is about to do. He crossed the last street in between his school and a company and sighed very heavily.

Today, the sky wasn't on his side either. It looks gray, as if about to cry and soak the entire city in it's sadness. He wasn't sure, but the certain surroundings sort of remind him of, home?

As he was already up the steps heading to the entrance of the school, a figure appeared in his peripherals. Not a boy nor a girl, more like a woman.

"Good morning, Kai. You're here surprisingly early." The familiar and fair voice calms Kai as if a nostalgic feeling engulfed him.

He turned to see who it was that had greeted him. "Oh. Good morning, Ms. Irene..."

Ms. Irene was hugging a book to her chest with one hand and the other was holding a laptop. "What's wrong? You look down today..." Ms. Irene's voice is now entangled with worry.

"Oh no, I'm fine. No need to worry about me." Kai flashed the 'realest' unenthusiastic smile he could at her to try and convince Ms. Irene and make sure her bright energy wasn't wasted on him.

"Alright then... Just in case if you're too tired, I can file a sick form for you and you can sleep at the nurse's sleeping area until second period..?" Ms. Irene showed a slight pout.

"You're truly the kindest Ms. Irene, but I really am fine. Thank you for the kind offer, but I'll have to pass." Kai once again flashed his smile.

"Alrighty... see you in around 20..." She smiled whole-heartedly at the boy.

With that, she started walking off and waved at the boy. He bowed at her and waited until she's gone off into one of the other hallways. He started walking to the bathroom and decided to freshen up with a little water on the face.

When he entered the bathroom, he quickly turns to the sinks and turns the tap on. He takes some in his cupped hands and dives his head into it. The cold sensation of the water slightly relaxing him.
