"What the fuck!?" Taehyun screeched of anger.

"What...?" Soobin frowned instantly by seeing the anger on Taehyun's face and tone.

"This thing doesn't work! I mean look, I checked myself and it says my temperature is 39.5° degrees..." Taehyun got calmer.

"So...? Wait does that mean you're sick...?" Soobin innocently asked. His face turned into a worried look.

"This app is broken! I mean look at it, it's off by 2.5° degrees! Do I seem sick to you...!?" Taehyun's anger became a bit too bad as Soobin held the urge to let out the tears out that was forming.

As soon as Taehyun saw Soobin's eyes become a bit too glossy and reflective, he immediately felt a pang of guilt in his chest. Taehyun calmed down— a lot— and started talking. "Look..." he sighed. "Your phone is outdated too... Maybe the app that was compatible to this outdated phone, so maybe that app was a bit faulty too... Let's get you a new one!" Taehyun flashed a smile and tilted his head.

"S-Sorry... I didn't know..." Soobin looked down on the floor.

"Look, it's not your fault, but didn't you know that 40° degrees could've maybe put him in a bed at a hospital right now...? Why didn't you take him to the hospital?" Taehyun asked as he pointed at the boy on the couch, still sleeping.

"I d-didn't know that 40 was that bad... I thought that maybe perhaps the worst was at 60 or something... That being the reason I didn't take him to the hospital. I'm sorry—" He put his arms to the side and bowed down so far, his entire body seemed to become an acute angle. "—I'm really sorry. I should've known better than to keep a broken and outdated phone and app. He could've been in danger because of me and I didn't do anything to help him... all I did was provide him with sweets which could've caused him more problems. I'm so—" Soobin got cut off by a tackle hug to the floor.

"You don't need to say sorry! You didn't know! None of it is your fault!" Kai screamed out in the middle of small and quiet sobs.

"Holy crap, Kai where the f-" Taehyun stopped himself from continuing as Kai slowly stood up and turns his focus on Taehyun and gave him the nastiest of death glares.

"Taehyun, you did this to this sweet little bunny of a hot piece of heaven." Kai turned to focus back to Soobin who had a smile on his face now. Kai smiled at the scene in front of him and sworn he could've collapsed right there to Soobin's chest. "Let's go buy you a new phone at the mall..." Kai said in a baby tone as he grabbed Soobin's right arm and helped him up from the floor.

"Ow-" Soobin let out a grunt quietly as he rubbed his back.

"Wait did I hurt you? I'm sorry" Kai hastily moved his hands to the one that was rubbing his back and removed it before lifting his shirt up, only to find a red wound across his well toned back.

"Oh my god, I am SO sorry" Kai grabs Soobin's hand and dragged him into his room, shutting the door pretty loudly.

"Welp, Kai grew up fast." Taehyun said as he went into his own room.
