Soobin was waiting 'til the school bell rang. '2 more minutes...' he kept chanting how much time is left until he can go to the coffee shop and wait to meet someone there... and his friends too

'5... 4... 3... 2... 1...' the school bell rang signaling students that they can leave the school. Soobin jumps from his desk and rushes out. He runs through the hallway and made it out in just 4 minutes.

He then started to slow down and eventually walking calmly as he sees the crowded streets, amazed. Lights from buildings and houses starting to fill up the city. He stops walking at a red light and crosses when it turned green, happily smiling the rest of his way to the Coffee Shop. When he arrived he went into the staff break room and got changed into his uniform. He was greeted by one of his friends from a different school and his co-worker, Yeonjun.

Yeonjun and Soobin have been friends since elementary. They went to the same school ever since, until Yeonjun's parents became very distant from one another. His life got more complicated ever since. They're parents ended up separating and Yeonjun is left with his kind mom. He moved to a school that doesn't cost much so he could help his mom financially. He's also working here part-time in order to support his mom.

"Hey Soobin!" Yeonjun greets while opening his locker

"Oh, Hi Yeonjun! Weird, you're here early? You wanna get that raise, huh?" Soobin asks

"Yeah... whatever it takes man." Yeonjun smiles and giggles

Soobin is so happy to see his best friend everytime, showing that he's doing well and laughing.

"Let me get changed first okay? I'm waiting on a guest" Soobin says excited

"Oooohhhhh? What, you're gonna pay for their drink?" Yeonjun teases then chuckles

"Am I that predictable?" asks Soobin concerned

"I was joking you know." Yeonjun clarifies, stunned that his joke was actually the exact thing his best friend is doing.

"Okay... I'll change into my uniform first. I'll see you outside! Work hard to get that raise, okay?" Soobin encourages Yeonjun

"Will do!" Yeonjun replies

After Soobin got changed, he went to the counter and waited for Kai and his friends to arrive. Yeonjun walks up to him...

"Are they here yet?" asks Yeonjun

"Doesn't seem like it..." Soobin replies sadly

Just as he said that, a boy wearing a yellow hoodie, white fit-body sweatpants, wearing a black beanie and black shoes walk in. Soobin's face lights up.

"He's here!" Soobin exclaimed

Yeonjun looked at the entrance and saw the boy and dramatically gasped. "Him? He looks like a baby! How could you!?" Yeonjun joked

"He's in the same grade as I am okay? That is legal." Soobin answered back jokingly

He sees Kai looking around as if he was searching for something, or rather, someone.

Soobin gathers the confidence to walk up to him and bring him to a table.

"Hello. Let me direct you to a table." Soobin smiles holding back his laughter

"Hi Soobin!" Kai smiles and causes Soobin to blush

Yeonjun watched this all unfold. 'This looks so cheesy' is all that was in his thought when he saw what was happening. He followed the two discretely, working near them to not make it obvious that he's watching them. 'This is gonna be hillarious'.
