Blare's Pov

Garnet follows me out the temple. I smile looking back at the door for a second the lingering presence of the gems still looming over me. We walked down to the beach taking a seat in the sand. We  sat in a peaceful silence, watching the waves.

"Who were you talking to?" I turned to see her looking at me. "N-no one in particular just thinking out loud. H-how long were you there?" I stuttered, silently hopping she heard nothing.

"Long enough to see you sit down." She answered. I felt relief course through me after she said that, but she didn't say anything about the bubbled gems glowing. "How are things between you and Pearl?" I asked hoping to change the subject before she asked anymore questions. "It's better." She answered.

The silence returned but for me it wasn't peaceful. I felt suffocated by it. I wanted to fill it in hopes of distracting me from the new presences I felt in the temple. This new development was going to be taxing. Things could change forever if they ever found out. "Relax." I heard her whisper as she gently pulled me to her.

I felt myself smiling as I moved closer to Garnet.

After awhile garnet and I parted ways. I wanted to go back to Garnet's room, but I knew I couldn't everyone was in the temple. "Anyone could walk in and see me."  I closed my eyes enjoying the silence. I felt myself settle down. I took a deep breath enjoying the warmth of the lava. "Blare! Steven's gone!" I jumped up running out of the temple and onto the warp-pad with the others.

"It's Peridot I was able to pinpoint her location their at the Galaxy Warp." Pearl informed activating the warp-pad. When we arrived he was sitting on top of the Homeworld warp. "Oh there he is." Pearl said hugging him in relief.

"Peridot." Garnet growled I turned to see the green gem not to far from us. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" She asked. "Well you did take Steven so I'm afraid we had no choice." I pointed out. She just growled activating her plasma cannon.

We quickly took action avoiding her fire. I was the first to approach swing my blade in hopes of poofing her on the spot, but she flew away. Amethyst quickly caught her stopping her from getting too far.

She laughed sending an electric current through the whip, but Garnet intercepted and redirected the charge, before slamming her to the ground. The dust cleared and we quickly closed in on her. "There's no where to run Peridot we have you." I stated.

"Wait wait you need me." Peridot started hopping to negotiate. Pearl slowly flanked her to deliver the final blow. "I'm the only one that knows about the-" Peridot said turning to shoot Pearl, but she was quickly apprehended by Garnet. Just like that Garnet poofed her leaving her limb enhancements behind.

I wonder what she was going to say. "What on Earth!" Pearl gasped looking at the left over gem tech. No she's right here and now she's in the temple." Garnet corrected sending her bubbled gem to the temple. "So these weren't actually apart of her body." Pearl said looking at the parts. To which Amethyst scooped them up and threw them into the ocean.

"Garnet, she was trying to tell us something." Steven pointed out. "Those are just the desperate lies of a gem that's been caught." Garnet said brushing of the possibility. "Blare you believe me right?" He asked a hopeful look on his face. "Of course I do Steven she had to be here fore something." I answered he smiled before walking back to the warp-pad with me.
