Misadventures (One direction)

Louis's POV

Before I could answer Harry's question Liam and the rest of the guys were running towards us.

"Oh my gawd! What happened?"

"Can we tell you after we get out of here? I think we've spent enough time in the woods." I responded

Harry then grabbed El and was caring her being careful not to touch any of her injuries. Liam picked me up and carried me as if I was a baby.

"Thank you." I could hear El barely whisper.

"No worries babe. Try to rest. Ok?"

"Ok." Was the only thing El said as she hid her face into Harry's chest.

"Yeah, thanks guys. Hmm... so I should probably tell you what happened?"

*Louis begins to remember*

"El looked me straight in the eyes after Lena and Harry ran off... I knew what she was thinking, we both started running at fast as we could. We looked around trying to find carrots. We passed by a really big apple tree and some strawberries. After about half an hour of not finding anything El suggested that we should walk by the edge of the forest.

I spotted something moving in some bushes. At first I thought it was some paparazzi, but it turned out it was a family of bunnies. They were really adorable, they had light brown fur and one of them had an extremely puffy white tail. I came up with the genius idea that if we followed them they would lead us to the carrots. So El and I stalked the bunnies into the woods.

We arrived at this beautiful creek and got distracted. Since the bunnies were gone we decided to just stay there for awhile really absorbing the beauty of the place. Right as El was sitting down she slipped on some rocks or something and fell in. I reached for her but she couldn't fight the current. With out thinking it through I jumped into the creek after her. I hit my arm against some rocks so I couldn't really swim. I told El to swim towards me but she couldn't. She started screaming in pain, she said her ankel hurt really badly and that she was scared. She couldn't move it.

The current continued to pull us forward. Then El crashed into a tree root that had grown into the water. She quickly grab hold it. Then I got pushed towards it, I also grabbed on to the tree root. I swear, we thought that we weren't going to make it back out.

After a while of just holding on we decided to try and look for a way out. At first we thought that we could climb the tree and get out. So since El's ankle was hurt pretty bad I decided to try to climb it first. Half way up I started to slip on the soil. My arm was hurting pretty badly but I knew it was maybe the only way to get out. I had to do it for El, and you mates. I finally reached the grass and pulled my self up. I laid down and positioned my self so that I could reach El. My arms were to short and I couldn't reach her. I tried looking for the walkie talkie to call you mates to come help us, but I couldn't find it.

I shouted down to El to stay there, that I was going to look for another way to get her out. I knew I had to hurry, as the water was incredibly cold and the current was only getting stronger. I quickly scanned the creek and noticed that the there was a "bridge" further down. I ran back to El and told her what I had found. I told her to slowly let her self go and I ran down to the bridge to met her.

The current pulled her towards me, along with her it also brought rocks. I quickly grabbed El and pulled her close to me. I turned my back so that the rocks were hitting me and not her. I managed to push her up onto the bridge. Then I got out.

We stayed on the bridge for a couple of minutes. Just laying down in each others arms. We decided to try to go to the shack. On our way there El could no longer walk and I couldn't carry her since my arm was hurting and a bunch of rock made gushes in my back. So we just sat by a tree. And then an hour or so later you guys found us."

As soon as I finished the story I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
