Hey all who may be reading this!

Todays topic is the word gay and what it means to me and how I feel about it.

To me gay means two things. One happiness. Two to live the same gender. Today I will be ranting about the second meaning.

I love gay people.

My greatest upon greatest best friends ever in existence are gay, happily married, and have two sons. They live in a different country right now and I miss them terribly and they think I am dead but thats another story...

Anytwats...

I am a strong believer of gay rights. This is for several reasons! I believe people should be able to love who they want and without discrimination. Being Bisexual myself only more firmly places this belief in my head.

Looking at me you would probs never know I went both ways. But then again I don't actively announce it to the world but I don't hide it either. If asked I will answer clearly that im bi. But. I also believe its not anyones fucking business who I am interested in or whom I love.

Anyways I have recently been reading some books. In these books their was a lot of negativity to main characters who were gay. It reminded me of the real life gay bashing problems we have today. Its terribly sad that people do this.

Fag. Faggot. Queer. Dyke. Homo. Poof.

These are just some of the sickening words people use nowadays. Teens and adults alike.

The sad thing? homosexual teens refer to them-self as these terms without realizing just how sad and derogatory it is that they are "okay" and "used to" them.

Another thing thats sad is how people actually use the word gay.

Teens will say things like "oh thats so gay!" or "your so gay!"

And not realize just how mean that those simple phrases are to the "so gay" person they are talking to if they are in fact gay or someone witnessing this is actually gay.

Another thing i'd like to talk about is "The Closet"

Why we call it that I have no clue. Maybe its the fact that we hide our true self so deeply its like actually hiding in a closet?

Anyways...

Kids now a days aren't as scared to come out because MOST and I mean MOST of us in our generation are okay with being gay.

But.

Not all of us are and its sad. I honestly believe its the views of past generations rubbing off their views onto them and basically "brainwashing" them to believe as they do.

Its upsetting and I blame it on society for culturing people into thinking that way.

Its upsetting how people get jumped and beat for loving who they do. Its sad when kids are scared to cone out because they don't want to be hated.

Its truly saddening when kids are suddenly hated by the parents who can't accept them as they are.

Am I saying that happens to everyone who comes out?? NO.

But the sad eyeopener is.

It still happens and more than you would think.

Idk its just something to think about is it not?

Anyways I had been reading a boyxboy book. (Boy in relationship with another boy for those who did not know.) It was an awesome book. What inspired me to write this chapter today was this...

The boy fell in love with another boy but before that had thought he was strait. When he realized he was gay he told his parents who accepted him for who he was which was cool. BUT heres the sad part. His best friend sense diaper days found out before he could tell him and went apeshit on him. His friend was normal up until one day he took him out for lunch. Dropped the bomb that he knew he was gay and said he was a disgusting fag and was wrong and sickened him. Dumped his soda on him and left him in a park.

Messed up right?

Yes while this was a book it is an example of what can and does happen to people. Its something that really makes you wonder how well you know people.

While I am fortunate to have friends and family who don't care about it others don't.

You should think about this. Are you someone who would throw years of familial love or friendship out the window just because of someones sexual orientation?

They are the same person they have always been they just revealed ONE little thing you previously didn't know before.

When you look at it that way it doesn't seem so much of a big deal does it?

Now dont pull some bible shit and say its Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve because you know what? I have two reasons thats discredited.

One. That book was written by a man not some higher power that created us and certainly not a rule book for our lives.

Two. Are you really gonna pick what some BOOK says over your friend or family?

If you choose that over them then you my friend are a dick a DICK and can go fuck yourself because if their is a hell your going their because if you truly believe in what the bible say then you'd also believe that god forgives and love all. Meaning he don't give two shits if your gay or he wouldn't have "created" "gayness" at all.

Thats a clusterfuck of stuff I just wrote isn't it?

Hell my point us I suppose is people just love who you want and haters be damned!

Ok Im going to go now because otherwise my blood pressure is gonna rise and Imma get even more pissed off.
