A prophesy is made before he is born that automatically puts him and his family on the hit list of the most evil dark wizard of this age.
Said dark lord kills his father then his mum in front of him before failing to kill him.
He is then left with magic hating relatives due to being orphaned and us abused and locked in a cupboard for the majority of his sad existence.
When brought back yo the wizarding world hes treated like the coming of christ of course that is until they need a scapegoat for their fears then they treat him like hes the devil incarnate and a crazy attention seeking child set to be next dark lord.
The psychopath that ruined his childhood comes back to ruin his life further and basically repeatedly attempts to whack his ass off the hit list failing miserably so he decides to just kill everyone he could ever care for.
War happens and the adults force a child to fight instead of growing a pair.
Need I go on?
I love Dumbledore sometimes...
But! This is all his fault. He created Tom as he is now as Voldemort. Hell he made Grinwald into the monster he was. so many people died for his errors.
But I believe this is my case in point and thatd not even branching into the FF world!
