Hikari would walk a few steps then chicken out and turn around.

Come on Hikari you can do this. It's alright he will understand things will be fine.

She ended up not being able to do it and walked in the direction of kushina house. She would know what to do. Kushina was a master at good advice, most of the time atleast.

As soon as her house came into view Hikari quickened her pace. She knocked three times really fast.

The door opened and there stood a smiling kushina.

"I was wondering when you'd stop by."

"You know?" Hikari Bit the inside of her cheek.

Kushina stepped aside signaling Hikari to come inside.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to do about kakashi, do I just not tell him and dip?"

Kushina gave her a look "of course not Hikari. You have too little faith in him, he's a ninja just like you I'm sure he will understand the situation you are in."

Hikari put her face in her hands "What if he decides he doesn't love me or that it's too hard." She gasped "what if we slowly stop talking and never hear from each other and when I come back we are strangers and never speak to each other again and I marry a boring Ninja, have a boring life, and have boring kids." She began to pace back and forth. "Oh kushina what if I die regretting never marrying kakashi."

Kushina crosses her arms "ya know your life doesn't revolve around him. You are a whole woman with a good man. Without him you will still have everything you need inside of you, there are plenty of kakashi's out there. I'm sure you don't need to worry though."

"How am I supposed to tell him?"

She laughed "maybe start with hey kakashi I have to leave for eight years but don't worry I still want to have your kids."

Hikari pouted "just day what you wanna say kushina."

Kushina sat down on the sofa "with all honesty I believe you have nothing to worry about and you have other priorities as well. Have you even prepared for your mission? Said all of your goodbyes? You are leaving for a long time"

"He-car-e is leaving?"

Naruto peeked from around the corner.

"Can I go with her."

Kushina and Hikari locked eyes.

"Come here naruto, there is something we need to talk about."

Naruto reluctantly walked over to his mother looking at Hikari with confusion. He didn't want to sit down and he clenched his tiny fists.

"Tell me." Naruto pouted and crossed his arms. "He-car-e and me are friends that means where she goes I go."

Kushina put her hand on her sons back "you can't go this time naruto. Hikari has a mission she has to go on, she's gonna go away for a while."

"For how long? Why can't I go!?"

Hilarious dug her nails into her palms as she watched tears well in his eyes and kushina frantically try and calm him down.

"Don't be sad naruto she will be back. You'll wait here for her won't you?"

He nodded.

"Then there's nothing to be sad about."

He began to sob and buried his head In hikari's lap.

"I don't care how long she's gonna be gone she's still gone! He-car-e please don't leave me! I don't want my he-car-e to leave, I can't help but be sad." The boy began to sob.
