This was home

They had finally made it back to the village. The first thing they did is get ramen.
"It's so great to see you again Hikari, how was the mission?" Teuchi asked with a big smile.

"It was... a lot of work." Hikari smiled picking up her chopsticks.

"I bet! I heard that kid is a real brat."

Hikari smiled, not wanting to talk too much about the mission, she still didn't know what she could or couldn't say.
Soon Hikari took notice of kakashi and Obito's conversation when she heard the Uchiha say, "oh please! I'm a hot, smooth talking, frisky assed, son of a bitch. You could never."

"Could you be anymore annoying."

Obito looked at him shocked "uhh.. yes! It's like you don't even know me."

"Whatever." Kakashi rolled his eyes and took another bite of food.

Obito pokes him in the side and kakashi's knees collided with the bottom of the table making Hikari laugh.

"Not you too!" Kakashi rubbed his leg.

"My head hurts stop yelling!"

"That's not from me yelling Obito, that's your brain trying to comprehend its own stupidity."

Sakura snickered leaning closer to sasuke and whispering "who does that remind you of?"

The two of them looked over at naruto who was shoving his chopsticks up his nose. When he noticed them looking he made a face "what?"

"Naruto what are you doing!"

"It's called talent Sakura, look it up."

Hikari felt two arms wrap around her.

"Well look who's home, my favorite jerky jerk jerk."

Hikari rolled her eyes "nice to see you too akane. A hello would of been just fine."

"That's not how you address your future hokage."

Hikari started uncontrollably laughing, having to grab her stomach. Everyone started smiling when they saw Akane's expression.

"Really Hikari?"

Everything the girl tried to stop laughing she would laugh harder.

"Okay I get it! I have to say I'm not surprised the first thing you all do is get ramen." Akane shook her head.

"Say, where's Minori and Hikana?"

"Minori is with rin at the hospital and Hikana is at the Intel building."

Hikari nodded. That's where she'd visit next. Of course the hospital is closer so Minori is going to be first on the list.

"Hikari Senju!"
A certain red headed woman's voice boomed threw the streets,
"You come back after eight years and you choose ramen over saying hello to me?!"

Naruto hid behind obito's arm "it's my mom!"
Hikari followed the young boys bright idea and hid behind kakashi's arm.

"Don't try and hide I can see you."

"Nu-uh."

Kushina now stood behind Hikari. "Missed you too!"

Hikari turned around with a huge smile "oh kushina, I'm so sorry I didn't notice you there." The girl embraced the woman.

"How was your trip?"

"It was long."

Kushina leaned in snickering "now that your back will I be looking forward to any honorary grandchildren anytime soon?"
