Helping the enemy

The next day they met on the main road. They split up.

"These jewels are so beautiful" she touched a necklace. The lady who owned the booth began talking with her. Not too long after Hikari said "I'm so sorry to hear about the taxation. A lot of people have been effected by it." The woman took the bait.

She did that until she reached the end of the line. This could be really bad for her, Or help her. Either way right now she was helping the enemy. Genki walked towards her.

"Thank you for helping me."

"Anytime" she smiled "is their anything else you need help with."

He thought about it for a second. "There is one thing. Would you like to travel with me and help me"

Either he was stupid or she was a good liar.

"Depends on what I'm helping you with" she playfully laughed

"I'll tell you but we can't be out in the open."

She nodded "lead the way then"

He led them to a cleared area and he snapped his fingers. His guards came out from everywhere. He stood there with his arms crossed. "I am king genki from the kingdom of rain. I need your help taking over the fire nation."

She blinked. Did he just-

"You will be an important asset to me."

She acted like she was thinking "Alright, deal."

He blinked "it was that easy?"

Inside that made her furious but she kept it cool and collected. "I don't have anything better to do." She shrugged.

"You do realize what your getting yourself into right?"

She nodded "yup, now let's bring the fire nation to its knees." She held out her hand, he took it.

This was too easy. She just needed for him to spill a little more information and then she could leave. Something didn't feel right though. It was too easy.

Was his trust that easy to gain? Or did he catch on.

He kept her close. Where ever he was she had to be. He said it had to be like that until his advisors trusted her. Which there was no telling how long that could be. She probably wouldn't be around for it anyway.

"Can I ask you something Genki"

"Yes"

"Why do you want me to help you."

"Because I felt sorry for you."

For some reason that didn't anger her, instead she felt a little relieved. Men are always too prideful to actually realize when a woman is smarter than them. She could act helpless, bat a few eyelashes, and she could get him to trust her. It made sense now. He trusted her so easily because he saw her incapable of putting a dent in his empire. It would feel nice to rub it in his face.

"How come?"

"Because you take me as a fool."

Her heart stopped

"Don't worry though, I'm the only one who caught onto your little game. I know you want me."

She wanted to laugh out loud.

"I was that obvious?"

He smiled "indeed."

For the next few days she gained his trust more and more. They were now leaving the stone village, he said they needed to meet with someone and he would tell them where to go next.

They were walking threw the mountains.

"Genki how far is it."

"Not very, we are already almost there."

Within a hour they stopped and waited.

"Where do you think we are going next."

"There's no telling. I've never been right when I've had a guess."

Two men appeared and her heart stopped. One of them had the Sharingan, she recognized his as Madara Uchiha. How he was alive she didn't know. The man beside him was Orochimaru.

She tried to not make it obvious. But she was stunned.

"My my Genki you've made yourself a friend" Orochimaru sinisterly smiled at her. "You do make friends with the right people"

"You know her?" Genki asked

"Of her" Madara said

They weren't ratting her out. Which made her worry more.

"She will be useful. She would have a lot of intel on our next destination." Orochimaru never broke eye contact with her.

"You will be traveling to the hidden leaf village. They will be harder to convince, which makes her come in handy."

Genki Lightly slapped her back "Alright, so tell us what you know" his voice seemed cheery.

She didn't speak.

"You will leave Tomorrow. I'll need to bring her with me until then. Don't worry I'll take good care of her, we just need to form a plan."

Genki lightly pushed her forward. The two men closed the distance. Orochimaru put a seal on her.

"This will Stop you from using any chakra. Just in case." He winked

With a cloud of smoke they were now in some sort of dark hospital room. The walls were brown stone along with the floor.

Hikari couldn't move. She was paralyzed with fear.

"Not moving? I didn't even need to poison you this time"

"Get this Done quickly, we don't have much time."

Madara walked out leaving them alone. Orochimaru tried to grab her arm and she slapped his hand away.

"don't touch me!"

She couldn't even think straight.

The next thing she knew Orochimaru had restrained her and she was strapped down to the metal table. She tried as hard as she could to break the restrains.
He took a needle and injected it into her arm.

"What are you doing"

"We are gonna see what's in the pretty head of yours, maybe even mix some stuff up."

She tried to fight it but she was getting tired. She kept muttering "no". If he got what she knew the village and everyone she loved would be in trouble. Including kakashi.
