Mission

Hikari had a new hatred for missions. Something always happened on a mission. This time they were more prepared and the mission was actually professionally planned out. They would go as a group to an island not too far from the land of Wind. It's name was Land of the jungle. There lived a king by the name of Haru. The leaf village was trying to make close allies with the new king, She lord fourth sent them to address a document signifying their alliance. However they had to help with conflicts. The land of rivers had been sending undercover ninja to find out the kingdoms weaknesses. A bonus was if they brought haru's head back. Imagine how thrilled he was to hear that the leaf village would be sending a bunch of specially trained ninja.
The land of the jungle would be a great Allie to the leaf, especially because of the things that could be found and grown there.
Their plan was simple. Hikari, Rin, and Akane would handle the document. Hikari was in charge of all the speaking. Kakashi, Hikana, Obito, and Minori would be attending to the ninja. Akane wasn't very thrilled about that. The whole way there that's all she complained about.

As soon as they got the the gates of the castle they split. Hikari and her team were now making their way to King haru's throne room.

"Akane be on your best behavior" Hikari scolded her

"OKAY MOM!" she crossed her arms angrily

The guards opened the door and at the end of a really long carpet sat a middle aged man in a flashy outfit.

"Welcome!" He yelled

They walked in and bowed.

After awhile of talking about how their journey way they were brought to a room with a fancy table. Hikari sat across from Haru. He had guards everywhere and she had rin and akane standing behind her.

Someone came and placed a huge stack of papers in the middle of the table. Which made Hikari nervous. This looked like it would take forever. Kakshi was the lucky one.

Hours later there was a single document left to sign and go over.

He picked it up and handed it to a man

"We will finish that one when your side of the deal is fulfilled."

It took every bit of self control Hikari had to not say something she'd regret. "Of course" she gave him a big smile.

"The other leaf Shinobi, from what they have reported I don't think it'll take them very long. They already have most of the....situation...under control."

Akane furrowed her brows at the way he said that.

Hikari cleared her throat "That's great to hear. Glad to be of assistance."

Rin looked at akane.

The king smiled "yes yes. If you all would follow me into the dining hall you'll meet the rest of your team."

Akane looked at Hikari as she got up and made a face that said 'something isn't right' but Hikari didn't react.

They followed them down a long hallway and took multiple turns.

"Ahh yes Hikari could you follow me I'd like to show you something." One of the Kong's Nobel men asked.

She smiled "oh course."

Was she really falling for it that easily, something wasn't right.

She took a left while everyone went straight. He took her down a hallway with tons of paintings of past Kings.

"You'll have to forgive the king, he's been under a lot of stress recently; he's not been himself."

She nodded.
