Kakashi x oc book two

Dancing

Kushina decided that she'd throw a welcome home party for Minori and Akane. It took her awhile to put together because of everyone's schedules. Kakashi and Hikari would spend the morning together but at lunch time they would have to part ways for a few hours to get ready and help for the party.

They sat on her bedroom floor. Kakashi had his head in her lap because he finally let her do his eyebrows. He frowned.

"It's not even that bad kakashi, and you already have really nice eyebrows so it's not like I'm doing a lot."

He lightheartedly rolled his eyes and started reading his book.

When she finished she took her thumbs and ran them along his eyebrows and patted his shoulder. "Alright I'm done"

He sat up, not taking his eyes off his book. She got scrolls out and started to read them, she was reading about the Rinnegan.

She was laying on her stomach propping her head up with one hand and kicking her feet in the air.

She felt kakashi staring at her and she raised an eyebrow returning the gaze.

He was just looking at her, not smiling just watching. He noted her looking and he crossed his eyes and made a funny face.

"What are you looking at nerd" she laughed

"You" he shrugged and went back to his book

"And why's that?"

He didn't say anything so she playfully flicked his foot.

"I don't know"

She rolled over to him and put her head on his thigh. "Come On you can tell me"

He looked at her "you just seemed so interesting. It sounds weird saying it out loud. But for a second everything you did captivated me and I couldn't look away."

She smiled and closed her eyes. He took one hand away from his book and ran it threw her hair and down her neck. He did that for awhile. It made her melt.

"Hey kakashi"

"Hmm"

"Noses are weird"

"I love you"

She kicked her feet in the air again "I love you too."

He was no fun when he was busy reading. But she enjoyed his company. She turned her head so she was looking at him and she did what kakashi did, just watch. Saying it out loud did made it sound creepy.
  She watched his eyes as they moved across the page and her eyes scanned all over him. She was deep in thought. He was leaving in the morning, it made her sad. He'd be gone for a month this time. She worried about him. Him being on the anbu scared her. Her eyes made their way to the mark on his arm, signifying him as apart of the anbu.

"Whatcha looking at nerd"

"Idk just some nerd."

He put his book down and gently grabbed her arm. She got up and sat on his lap laying her head into his chest.

"I'll be back before you know it, alright" he whispered into her ear

She stared blankly at the floor. After a few moments she said "please be safe". Her voice was in a whisper.

He nodded and kissed the top of her head. "You stay safe too. If you need anything please tell someone don't hold it in. If you need to I'm sure you could stay with Minori or akane, you don't have to be alone."
