My usual ride to school picked me up and the usual happen. The usual I knew was different, Dani was silent on the way to school and everytime I open a conversation, he kept his replies short. I told him the date that Zach asked me last night but he just hummed while I blabber about it. I don't know what's wrong with him and I wanted to ask him but as we arrived at school, he immediately got outside of the car, so I tried to pick up his pace but as soon as I got out of his car. He locked it immediately and disappeared. What is wrong with him?

Well, I will not worry about Dani right now because I have a date and of all people he should be happy for me.

School just started and it's been hell since yesterday. I mean, who gives a project that needs to be done by the end of the week? This day had been stressful enough and I don't want it to show on my face on my date because I cannot be uglier in front of Zach.

I took the usual shift with my mom by my side, on the other counter.

"You look stressed." My mom pointed out.

"Uhm, it's been hell all day and I got so much things to do and I still have a date and I don't know if I'm gonna look good and I don't know if I'm going to please him-" I said clearly stressed.

"Hey, calm down. You should be stressed with school works not on a date. He shall accept you as his date even if you showed up as garbage." My mom calming down and making me feel better. "I'm going to be honest with you, I don't like that Zayn."

I laughed, "It's Zach."

"Zach or Zayn, it's still the same." My mom said and laughed at her more. It's definitely not the same. "I just sensed some bad boy and heart breaker energy when it comes to him. You should just date Daniel instead, I feel safe when you're around him and you look more at ease with him."

My mom is really talking nonsense right now and I just laughed it off. Me, dating Dani. No, not that I don't like him but it may ruin our friendship and Dani treats me as a sister not a love interest. I really don't want to jeopardize our friendship.
