18 - i know you know that

The date was great. He took me to another semi-fancy restaurant and told me to calm down that what I wore is great and beautiful. We simply laughed our asses off and got odd looks from everyone. Who wouldn't? We just mock their etiquette gestures.

"I swear if we turned the volume of our laughs up more, they'd kick us out." He said as we reminisce and copied the look of the butler around the corner of the place.

"There was a mom there who really have this unpleased look and I think he whispered to her child that we arr a bunch of fuck ups that doesn't belong there." I said still laughing, I've grown kind of comfortable around him.

"I'm sure she's telling her kid that she used to be this fun before he married an old man with so much money." He said.

We pulled over at my house and he assists me as I exited his car. He walked me to the front door and we're washed with complete silence.

"I'm gonna pick you up tomorrow." He informed. "And I don't know if you would consider this but the offer is still on."

"What offer?" I asked.

"I still want you to be my girlfriend and I don't know, you said you don't want to rush things but if you don't want to I'll wait until you're ready and if you do, I'll take those fears of being together and that would make me the happi-" I cut him off while giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Yes." I said and he grew this huge smile on his face. He started touching his hair clearly couldn't believe what I just said.

"You, Dream Lively McBroom is my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yes!"

"Oh my god, you don't know what you're doing to me." He exclaimed as he pulled me in a hug and kissed my forehead. He pulled his phone and went to the camera then turned it on. "This girl, Dream Lively McBroom is my girlfriend." He excitedly recorded and I nod at the camera while smiling.

"What's that for?" I asked.

"Memories." He said as he planted another kiss on my forehead and pulled away. "I still can't believe it." He said as he walked to his car and I can't help to laugh at how cute he is right now.

I entered the house with this huge grin on my face. "Someone looks happy." My mom pointed out.

"Mom, Zach and I are-"

"Together? I knew it would come." Her face suddenly fell. "Just don't forget what I told you."

"Mom." I said, disagreeing.

"I support you but I still care ok?" My mom gave me a sympathy look.

"Yes, thanks." I said and hugged her before I climbed to my room.

This day cannot be more surreal. Me and my best friend is ok. Zachary Dean Herron is now my boyfriend which never in a million years I would expect to happen. Yes, in an imaginary world but never in this world.

I smiled at my phone but ignoring Dani would really be a pain for me. I understand that he gets jealous with him but he's only my best friend. If I didn't oblige him though, we would fight over this and we just started being together. I would just let this flow and see what I could do. Dani will understand.
