5 - we were best friends

"Hey dipshit, wake up." I aggressively wake Dani because we are already at the parking lot of McDo and it's already 3:15 in the morning. He grumps and I am not having this attitude so with my scrawny arms, I pulled his weight on mine until I slumped him on the hood of his car. Why didn't I have gone through the drive thru instead of pulling his ass from sleep?

He finally woke his dramatic ass and we enetered the building. "Have you grown a halo? Are you being nice to me now?" He teased.

"Ok, let's get out then."

"No, no, no, I'm joking ok? I love youuuu." He said and now he's back to annoying Dani, when does he doesn't though?

We parted from each other while I ordered the food and he finds us a place to sit where it could be anything right now. We can slump on the floor if we want because the store is empty. I ordered the food and payed with his money because I'm broke and needing me comes with a great price. Fries, burger and root beer. Yeah, I'm weird.

I should probably text my mom before she get worried because there is no Dream sleeping in my bed.

"Thank you and I love you." He blurted as I slide down the seat.

"What's with this grandma Dani going on? A while ago you were an ass, what's the change of heart?" I teased and that's what our friendship is, composed of teasing.

"Ha-ha." He said as he rolled his eyes. "Still, thank you though. And I'm sorry." He said and he actually means it this time.

"It's ok." I said and he has this huge grin now planted on his face. I looked at him weirdly because I am weirded out by this Dani. "Plus, good came out of it."

"What? Zach asked you on a date?" He said as he rolled his eyes again. Where did I picked up this sassy Daniel?

"Well, not that. Not yet." I said as I wiggle my eyebrows.

"Not yet?"

"He invited me to his party." I said and now I am the one with a huge grin on the face.

"Parties are never actually your scene. Don't go." He said reasoning why I shouldn't go and the list goes on about me being an introvert and an anti social person. I don't also drink and I don't like drunk people.

"I know, I know but I'm open to try new things." I said pulling my convincing face on.

"New things or Zach?"

"Well both, and I want you to com with me." I am now on my puppy face.

"Why, so you can rub it to my face that I am single and now you're leaving me?" He said having the most pity voice I've ever heard.

"What?! No. Wait, when you had a girlfriend, didn't I supported you?" I asked and he is now giving me a 'duh' look. "Well I have a reason to not like her."

"Well I do to. He's an asshole, a player, and you don't know him that well."

"That's why I'm coming to know him better so please come with me. Pleaseeeee." I said while I'm at level 100 of puppy eyes right now.

"You really want him huh?" He asked like he doesn't know what's my answer to that so I nod with my begging face. "Sorry, no can do. My dad needs me that day."
