32 - my best friend

"Dream Lively McBroom will you marry me?" Tom said as he knelt down on one knee.

"Yes! Tom, yes!" I said as I jumped and he puts the ring on my finger. I went to kiss Tom but this fucking fly came out of nowhere and stayed on my nose. He's literally dancing his ass off in my nose and at first it tickles but now it's annoying.

I scrunched my face and when I opened my eyes, Dani was smiling at me. "What?! Where's my Tom?" I looked at my hand. "My ring?"

"It's just a nightmare." Dani said as he rubbed my head. "You're really onto the next level, a ring?" He laughed.

"Why do you always get in the waybof me and Tom?" I asked clearly annoyed.

"Ouch that hurt."

"Why are you even here?" I asked as I try to fixed my bed because there's a giraffe lying on top of it.

"Wow, no good morning?" He demands. "I'm here to take you to your surprise so get dressed."

"Good morning." I faked smile. "Now get out of my room, I'll get dressed." I demand.

"Well, I don't have to. I've seen you in swim suits so it's not that new to me." He teased.

"James, get out of my room." I said as I pushed his weight out of my room.

"Now that's a workout."

I cleaned myself first because with Dani, dates are adventures for him which is what I like than just pretend to be etiquette in a fancy restaurant. As soon as I get out of the bathroom, I scurried my way to the closet and find a decent outfit to wear. Why the heck is there not a single decent outfit in this closet? All of them were in the washer and the dirty bag. Why now, of all time why now?

All that's left are dresses I wouldn't wear that my mom bought me which I don't understand her because I don't even use these. I found a decent dress that end right above the knee, not too low, not too high. It's a dark blue spaghetti dress with little white flower drawings that looks like a bralette sewed into a flowy skirt. It has an open hole in front of my ribcage area which I don't know what's the purpose. Is it when you get so hot so you can breathe there? I don't know. I told you that I don't really wear sleeveless clothes so I put a denim jacket on. I grabed my Doc Martens boot on and tied it.

I fixed myself in the mirror which is impossible to do so I just put a little tint to make me look like I don't have Anemia and tied my hair into a low ponytail then pulled some baby hairs to look naturally.

"Hey, I left tye keys here. I'll take it to start th-" Dani started but got cut off when I turned to look at him.

"I know I shouldn't have worn the dress, my huge lefs are showing off." I said as I turned around but I was caught off guard when he turned me to face him. He looks like a fish who just saw food who's mouth was fallen.

"You look absolutely stunning. I like the dress, even though it's a dress, it still suits your personality." He compliments and I can't help but blush ag his comment. "I didn't know that you could be more beautiful wow. I don't deserve this beauty and I didn't know that you'd dress up for me. I could kiss you right now but that's disrespectful so I won't." Instead, I kissed him on the cheeks and laughed at his reaction.

We take our way downstairs and I suddenly whispered on him, "Who's ogling now?"
