13 - we would pass

We finished our date at 9pm because it's a school night and I don't want my mom to be worried. He drived me home and now we were in the car.

"Thank you, I really enjoyed the night." I said as I exited his car.

"Yeah, thanks to for having a date with me." He said as I smile at him. I walked back to our front porch. "Dream!" He called me before I entered our house. "I'm gonna pick you up tomorrow."

"Uhm, Dani is my ri-"

"Don't worry I already told him." He assured.

Me and Zach on our second date then him picking me up tomorrow. This is all a dream. Am I dreaming? Someone wake me. I pinched myseld to check if I was dreaming and it was really a hard pinch to double check and it hurts. But I'm not dreaming.

"Young lady, it's a school night and it's almost 10 o'clock." My mom said in the living room.

"I know mom, I'm sorry but I already finished some of my works." I reasoned while sitting next to her.

"I just don't like you hanging around with him." My mom said in the calmest tone stroking my hand.

"What do you have against him mom? He's the sweetest person I know and guess what? He cares." I raised my voice because Zach is a great man and he's not here to defend himself while being judged when she don't know him yet.

"See, you're raising your tone at me and I don't like it." She replied with the same tone.

"It's always what you like, what about what I like?" I said and we are now battling on who's the better shouter.

"Go on, soon you'll realise that picking him is a mistake." She said. "I've done that mistake with your father and I just don't want that to happen to you to."

"Mom, with all due respect. I'm nothing like you and let me tell you that Zach is a great guy. You just don't know him yet and I want you to give him a chance." I reasoned.

"Ok but don't tell me I didn't warned you when goes and break your heart."
