28 - i ever told you

Other than my mom, I got one more person that is greatly disappointed at me. Now, after a long night, I went to my best friends house to simply fix things with him. I am on his doorstep building the courage to knock. Why though? I should really apologise to him. I knock with all might and the door opened up after a few. I am greeted by Daniel's little sister Anna which I adore a lot, she's so little compared to the kids her age, she's only 4 and she's literally the most adorable girl I've ever seen. Her and Dani have this great bond which I admire a lot at Dani because of how he handle Anna. Before it gets weird because I'm staring at Anna like a kidnapper, I asked her where's his brother.

"Uhm, I-I think he's in his ro-room and last night, he was really sad lately so I get into his room and hugged him." The innocent girl said. I really messed Dani up.

"Thanks Anna." I said as I kissed the little girl. I entered the house without permission because I really consider this as my second home, Keri is probably at her office right now. They really should not let Anna open the door herself because what if some bad guy was knocking. She just let a bad guy into the house who's looking for her brother.

I reached his room and now the second challenge is on, knocking again. I didn't have to because it opened and revealed a Dani who is clearly messd up. Wrinkled clothes and shuffled hair.

"What are you doing here? " He asked. I mean who wouldn't if someone that you haven't talked in a week comes at your doorstep.

"I'm here to apologize." I said as he let me in. He should've pushed me out because of what I've done to him. "I'm sorry of I didn't listen to you. You knew and I knew that he'll gonna hurt me again but I'm so stupid to even give him a chance."

"Yes, you are." He said as he had this disappointed face. "What are you even thinking? Are you even thinking? He'd hurt you the first chance he get and then toyed you the second time. I told you that he's an asshole but you didn't listen. What did he do this time?"

I don't know why he's really calm right now but the anger in his tone is evident. "He cheated to me with Allisa. I know I'm so stupid, I'm sorry."

"That's it. So I can believe that again and I can become your personal handkerchief. A temporary guy who's going to be there for you all the time but you choose to ignore. Isn't it obvious? I've liked you since, I've shown you that a couple of times but you still wouldn't notice. Dream, I cared. For when no one else would, I did. Even though you are so stubborn and pushy about finding your man, I supported you and stayed with you because if it's what makes you happy, then be it. I would just like you from afar but if you're going to be with that asswipe, that's my cue to interject because I don't want you to be beaten up and bruise your heart. You derserve better and I'm not saying that I'm better but I liked you ever since and I know that you people screaming. I know that you hate it when you hear someone chew their food loud-- I'm probably rambling but what I'm trying to say is that I like you, I don't even know if what I'm feeling is right but I like it. I know we're best friends and you've shown me what I really like, even love in a girl." He explained, I really don't know what to say at his revelation and my shocked face gave it away. "I know I should've told you in the first place but I'm scared that you only see me as your best friend and you're so stuck on that guy that wouldn't even care about you but I do."

Silence. We just stood there staring at each other. I'm trying to build up words to say but I couldn't.
