Chapter 9 : Lucas Brown

i know you must have waited for this to come, who was Lucas Brown for him to appear in most of these collective memories of mine. This show was for sure casted by V.I.P's in my life. And he's part of it. 

the next flash of memory was about this guy, well, as i said earlier, he was my college classmate, we met in the University. We studied the same course. i remember i asked him before why he chose Medical Science since he seem to love Photography more. but he didn't gave me an aswer, a real one. I still can't remember clearly how we became this close but one day, we just did. He even become my love guru, that was unbelievable, i forced him to. yes i did. He was the guy who hates stuff like this. but this time i even forced him to something else.

Remember how he hates love stories? well, the cheesy and all dramatic ones. He hated them. he was more comfortable in horror movies or action. This time, i asked him, no, i mean i told him that he should watch "A Walk to Rember" of nicholas spark's, and "The Notebook", still a nicholas spark work. i love his works. i love all of the movies that was written by him. I wanted to share it to Lucas since he'd been a really good friend to me. i didn't really forced him, i never actually thought he would watch them. but one day he texted me

"hey Walters, what happens to this old woman? will she remember?"

"what? what are you talking about?"

"oh, i mean, in the notebook"

"you are watching it right now?" with a shocked emoticon at the end of the sentence, i replied

"yes, yes, don't get all excited. i am being a judge here"

"yeah right, just watch it, i don't want to spoil you, it'll ruin the purpose of the movie" i replied while smiling at my phone

my friends got curious why i was smiling and who i was texting and all i could say was

"nothing. it's just funny"

it was really funny and fluttery at the same time. i felt my cheeks had blushed. well, not because i was in love with Lucas but i can't believe he actuallly listened to me and watched them. Lucas Brown, the man who hates cheesy love stories have watch one super duper ultra cheesy love story written by a cheesy novelist named Nicholas Spark

the surprise didn't came to an end, a week after that he texted me again

"hey, i am watching a walk to remember, this one's boring"

"what? again? you are watching romantic movies?"

"i had to judge. between The Notebook and this"

"talk about being a judge, so what part are you at?"

"well, the part where they are in a cemetary and watching the stars. talk about dramatic"

"talk about romantic"

"what's romantic about cemetary. it's creepy. talk about a creepy love story"

"okaay, now you are making fun of it. just watch it till the end, no matter how you feel bored cause it'll get better and lovelier"

"okay fine. your wish is my command madam"

"stop calling me that" okay, so he'd been calling me "madam" i hate how i love it. well, i just seem to enjoy his company and his teases. i got used to it and he got used to me.

talk about getting used to each other, see, he is even watching these type of movies which is still a shocking to me. but whenever i asked him why he decided to do so, he just says

"i decided to experience all things around in this world"

after watching the movie, he texted me again
