31. ♡Another plan ♡

Alia's P.O.V
Arjun always has weird plans. Like the time he wanted to drink an entire bottle of whiskey and count how long it would take to pass out. Or the time he wanted to dance and party all day. Arjun really is a party beast!

"Arjun? What is your plan!", I asked.

He smiled. "Well, you all know my famous great plans and-"

"You know why they're famous right?! Because they fail each time!", Parineeti said. She rolled her eyes and Shraddha laughed.

Arjun looked at her, being very annoyed, and rolled his eyes like Parineeti did.

Shraddha again silently laughed.

"Arjun, tell your plan! I haven't got all day!", Sidharth exclaimed.

"Day? It's almost night!", Shraddha said.

"Exactly, so Arjun! Tell us!", he responded.

Varun wiped away my tears, which I hadn't even noticed. I turned to face him and gave him a silent thank-you look. He returned a don't-mention-it look and he smiled. He pulled me back to him and I leaned into his side. I could almost see the tension leaving his body when my head touched his shoulder.

"So, my plan is genius!", Arjun began. "No one, had ever thought of this! We simply swap Alia with Shraddha! Everyone will think that Alia will marry Shraddha, but in reality Shraddha will marry Sid!" He clapped in his hands. Ain't it the best plan ever?

"Yeah genius. And during the ceremonies?", Parineeti asked sarcastically.

"Right... I didn't think of that.."

I noticed that Varun was being awfully quiet. He had not said anything during the entire conversation, while he usually can't shut up.

I tilted my head so I could look at him. He was looking at the wall and was completely ignoring me.

Shraddha sighed.

"I love him. But marriage? I'm not ready yet... I need time", she said

He looked hurt and faced the ground.

"So? Now what?!", Arjun asked confused. "What should I think of now?

"Why should you even think of the plan?", I hissed. "All your plans fail!"

"True", Sidharth replied. "But what else do we got? Who is going to think of a plan now?"

"Well, actually we have a few options. We could expose Karan. We could marry illegally. Or we could run away from our problems and never look back. Or we just cancel the entire marry plan. We're just in the first phases of our relationship", Shraddha said.

"I agree. But none of these options are really likely. They're extreme! We can't just run away from home and leave everything! We have a family here. A career. A life. We can't just abandon that. And imagine if we expose Karan! None of the producers would want to work with us! Out of fear that we might expose their deepest secret. And then we don't have a living anymore. Then you can go take a office job. From 9 till 6 behind a desk, typing random shit and being hella bored. No thank you!", Arjun said frustratedly.

Tensions were getting really high now. Of course Sidharth and me didn't want to get married so we had to think of something! But these solutions were useless.

Suddenly Varun got up. He pushed me away and left the room. He slammed the door shut with a lot of force.

Bang

"What's wrong with him?", Parineeti asked surprisingly. "He was fine just a minute ago!"

"I dunno. I guess I'll go ask. Please carry on with your plans. We need to use a proper plan", I said.
