Okay... so it is like 6 in the morning now, but I can't sleep anymore so I decided to write the next chapter.

Varun's P.O.V
After Arjun had thought of a plan, we went into the details.

Sidharth was going to tell his family that his wedding wouldn't happen in the near future.

Alia and I would tell her family.

And finally Shraddha, Arjun and Parineeti would tell Karan to cancel the wedding or else they would expose him.

I was putting the dishes in the dishwasher when Parineeti entered the kitchen.

"Hey", she said.

"Hey", I said while continuing.

"You need some help?", she asked friendly.

"Yeah, a little help would be nice", I laughed.

She helped me finish and then we went to the living room. It was now exactly 7 PM.

"Varun.."

I turn around and see that Parineeti is still there behind me.

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you a favour?"

"Sure, go ahead"

She sat down on the big couch. She smiled softly. "Well... this idea was better in my head" She laughed and then she smiled towards me.

I was not sure what was going on, so I just smiled back towards her.

"Varun, you know Arjun best. You have been friends even before you entered the industry. He is behaving really weird with me these past weeks, now. We were just friends in the beginning. He was friendly and nice and he was never misbehaving with me. But these last couple of weeks, his behaviour has changed. Drastically. He suddenly did not care for me anymore. He keeps on saying that I'm his object. He calls me Jaan and Tigress and misbehaves a lot with me." By now, tears were falling out of her eyes.

"But now, I feel like I barely know him. He keeps having these nightmares. Almost every night he wakes up, shouting either my name or his mother's. And every time he wakes up, he is really violent. I've learned from experience that it helps for him, if you talk about his nightmares. But these nightmares are not the same as his others. He wakes up, drained and upset. There were even a few times were he was crying when he woke up. And I don't know what to do! I want to help him, I really do. But I just didn't know what to do. Every time when I try to calm him, he either becomes more aggressive and shouts that I don't know anything. That I am not allowed to mingle in his nightmares. And sometimes, when I calm him he immediately relaxes."

"And he is just laying there. Completely still and I ask about his dreams and if he wants to talk about, whether he's okay and all that stuff. Then he usually just says that he's tired and he doesn't want to talk about it. And at first this was rare. But now it happens more frequently and I don't know what to do. I don't like it when he shouts at me or insults me...", she said nervously.

"Sorry, I'm really just nagging about it, aren't I?, she laughed.

I smile and I give her a hug. "I'm sorry, I didn't know. I'll go talk to him soon. No one misbehaves with my friends!", I said in a serious tone.

"No even he!"

"Thank you Varun. I owe you.."

"You don't owe me anything. We're friends. We do this."

"So cute!"

"I am not cute!", I scoffed.

She laughed and then we sat back.
