II - 11 - The News

"Yuki?" I heard someone call out as I opened the large doors. I limped into the room, using the sword in its cover as a crutch to lean on. "Hello father." I shut the doors. "You requested I talk to you, right?" He nodded. "I have been thinking long and hard about this, but I've decided to enrol you in school." I looked at him in shock. "Couldn't even I decided? I don't think it's right to go now." He looked me in the eyes. "You need to learn to control yourself, it's for the better." I sighed. "When does it begin?" He thought for a second. "In 2 months, or around then." I nodded and headed towards the door. "Is that all?" He nodded. "You may need to talk to Rias though." I made my way out the room and shut the door. I headed along the large hallway which seemed to wrap around the building. "It's strange to be back so soon." I thought to myself as I stepped up to a window overlooking the city. "You're awake finally?" I turned and noticed Issei walking towards me. "Yeah, didn't expect you to be here though." I stepped towards him. "Rias needs to talk to you about a rating game." I nodded as I began to follow him.

He led me to a room with a large table, everyone in her club was sat down as well as Yuma. I stepped up to one of the chairs and sat down slowly, resting my sword to the side of me. Issei sat down next to me. "As some of you may know, we have a rating game in 2 weeks time, we'll we haven't really prepared so we're going on a training trip like before." I looked at everyone else who seemed to be surprised. "Now, we will be leaving in 2 days, which means we have to pack. We will be leaving from the club room at 7am so be there by 6.30, where we'll talk about tactics for the game."

I covered my eyes from the sunlight harshly beaming down on me. "Why does it have to be so bright?" I picked up 3 of the bags on the ground and threw 1 of them over my shoulder. I then held the other 2 and began to walk. We had finally made it to the path leading to the training grounds, somewhere that is pretty empty but filled with lots of thick forest and one large manor. "Hey Yuki, why does Draco control you sometimes?" I created my gauntlet. "Talk to him yourself." The orb lit up. "What's up?" Rias thought for a second. "Draco, I want to make a request." "Go on." He responded quickly. "If you somehow become one of our last lines of defence or Yuki is in serious risk, I want you to take control of him." I was shocked at what she said. "Why would you want him to do that?" I shouted at her as the dragon laughed. "I'll do it, Why not?" I sighed. "Don't back her up, I shouldn't be in serious risk right?" She shook her head. "I forgot you haven't done a rating game. Our enemy is the leviathan family. We will always be in risk during a battle, or at least that's what you should think." I nodded and then spotted something out of the corner of my eyes. "1st configuration, mimicry." I grabbed ahold of an attack pointed right at Rias and launched it back at the source.

The forest lit up, revealing multiple shadowed figures. I put down the bags and drew my sword as the first figure stepped out. They pulled down their hood, it was Ichika. "Ichika?" She created a ball of fire which grew larger and larger. She then began to create another ball which was in her second hand. Another figure appeared, a girl with long blue hair. She charged at me as I bought my sword up. She then created chains around me as Rias launched an attack. I was pulled in the way of the attack and struck. The girl then launched a blue flame at Rias which seemed to burn her. Issei punched Ichika as she launched flames at him whilst Kiba tried to slice at the chains. The blue haired girl kept moving me around making it harder for Kiba not to cut me. "Just cut me if you need to." I let go of Kusanagi and Kiba caught it, sliced it through the chains. They became loose and let go of me as a slice appeared down my back. I took Kusanagi from Kiba and placed my thumb on it's blade. I moved my thumb up it, causing a small amount of blood to drip down into it. The blood then seemed to dissolve as the sword was engulfed in flames.

Ichika launched flames around her, Issei and me. We were trapped by a barrier which seemed to wrap around us only. I tried to get out but burnt my hand. She then created a second barrier which cut Issei from me and her. Ichika went to grab me so I stuck my blade up. "Why are you doing this?" I created my helmet and my vision seemed to darken as well as everything went different shades of grey. "Somebody needs to see you." I nodded. "1 guess, and if I guess who it is, you have to leave my friends out of this." She nodded and I acted like I was thinking. "Ah, I know exactly who you're working for. Is their name by any chance Ise?" I called out to her. She looked at me in shock, "you knew didn't you?" I smiled. "I guessed, now I leaving." I went to leave through the barrier but she stopped me, wrapping a rope of flames around my leg. She dragged me to her and held me off the ground upside down. "Tell me how you knew, and also we said that your friends wouldn't get involved, you are still." I looked down at the ground then at her. "You aren't wrong." She pulled out a knife and held it on my throat. "Tell me!"

I then realised I had dropped my sword. I looked around and spotted it, by the flame barrier. I tried to reach towards it but got pulled further away. More flame began to wrap around me, and burn even worse. I squirmed about, trying to free myself. Part of my clothes burnt away, revealing the bandages. I then swung myself and grabbed Ichika. I pulled her towards me and then launched her into the flame barrier. It opened for her and the rope like flames let go of me. I fell to the ground face first and landed awkwardly on my injury. I rolled over in pain. I then grabbed Kusanagi, pulling it towards me. I used it to get up. I ran over to the hole in the barrier but it shut again. The flames then drew closer and closer. I took a deep breath and created an X with my arms. I pushed forward right through the flames, burns riddled my arms.

I was then confronted by the girl with blue hair. "I don't have time for this." She frowned at me and then charged at me with her sword. I blocked it with mine and caused a circle to wrap around her sword. "Shatter." I shouted as it began to shake. The sword then shattered into hundreds of mini pieces, except the handle which was intact. I then stabbed the girl in the stomach and she fell back to the floor. Ichika created a portal under the both of them and were dragged through it, leaving us alone. I pointed my middle and pointing finger towards the flames. I took deep breaths as I created a spell book in my other hand after putting my sword back in it's cover. I flicked through the pages and shut my eyes. "Elemental displacement diffusion." The flames began to sway back and forward quickly as they grew smaller. The flames then disappeared, leaving only ash and smoke behind.

I fell backwards, the spell had depleted my energy. I took deep breaths as I thought to myself. Rias rushed up to me.
