Sacrifice

"Blip...blip...blip."
I sat up and groaned, slamming my hand down on my alarm. I climbed out of bed and stretched. A loud crack extended up my spine, I shivered for a second. I slipped on some clothes and headed out my room. I stepped into the bathroom and cleaned my teeth, as well as washed my face. I adjusted my hair and walked downstairs.

"You're awake? Why are you so early?" My mum asked as I grabbed my bad. "I'm heading out early." She laughed. "What's wrong with you? You're always late." I smiled. "Just a change." I stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a breakfast bar. I slid it into my pocket and grabbed a bottle of water. "I'm off now." I spoke as I rushed to the door. I exited my house and shut it behind me.

The sun beamed down on me, I blocked it using my forearm. I put in my earphones and turned on my music. I rushed down the pavement and towards the school. It was still slightly dark, but was getting lighter. There were few cars, and even less people. I ran down the alleyway and then stopped dead in my tracks, a small sheet of paper on the ground. I kneeled down and picked it up. I peered at it, it had a circle on it, which looked like the circle Rias used when creating a beam during the fight. Along the sheet was writing, but I didn't read it, and rather continued to rush to school. I slid the piece of paper into my pocket and turned the corner. I exited the alleyway, and stepped into the front of the school.

I made my way around the school and over to the Kendo club. When I had got there, it was still locked. I guessed she were running late, so I stood, leaning on the door. I pulled out my phone and began to scroll through it. After a while I stopped and looked at the time, it was still the same. I became confused, I thought it had been a few minuets minimum, but according to my watch and phone, it hadn't changed. I looked around for another way of telling the time, and then noticed a large explosion at the front of the school which extended up to the sky. I looked at it in shock and began to move over towards it. "What if it's them, again?" I thought to myself as I walked towards the front of the school.

I heard shouting as I grew close enough, and peered over towards the front gates, there they were, the group of girls, and Issei. Opposite from them, the girl who they had fought before, but along with another woman and a man. I watched them from afar, trying to see what they were doing. That's when the woman created a golden spear and began to enlarge it. She launched it towards the group, but Yuki rushed in the way, using his shield to block the attack. He launched a beam towards them, which seemed to be created through a magical circle, the same one on the sheet of paper I had found. Issei created his armour and also proceeded to charge forward, creating a large sword which he swung at the man.

The man also had a sword, which he used to block the attack. He then pulled out a pistol and pointed it at Issei, firing it. Issei evaded it and Kiba launched past him and tried to hit the man with his sword. The man blocked it, Issei instantly trying to strike him again. Koneko charged towards the other woman and tried to punch her, only for her fist to get caught. She was swung around and thrown overhead right into the wall of the school. I looked on in shock, they really were 'different', to say the least.

Koneko climbed from the hole and created a blue flame in her hand. She launched it forward at the trio, but it was caught by Yuki. He spun around and threw it at them, speeding up the attack and making it larger. It struck one of the three, launching them backwards and to the floor. They rolled to a stop, clearly unresponsive. The woman looked towards the man and then created a circle on her hand. Megumi then enlarged the circle and caused it to create a strange creature, a serpent with wings. The serpent began to charge towards them, but Yuki used his sword do hit the snake off target.

(Yuki's POV)

"This has all gone wrong, we're at the wrong place, and it's the wrong time." I spoke to Rias. "We can't defeat them, can we." Rias responded as she created a circle to use as a shield. "Maybe we can. Xenovia, Kiba. Form up on me." I called as I held my sword up high. "Promotion to knight." I called out as I held my hand forth. I threw Kusanagi to Kiba and then handed him the holster. "I want you to look after this for me, use it if you must." I then stuck my hands forward, creating a large circle. I stuck my hands through it. "Twin blades!" I called as I pulled my hands out the portal, also dragging 2 large swords which looked like bland katanas. The portal then showed symbols which changed, spelling out "Destruction." I charged forward with Kiba and Xenovia running behind me. "Everyone, separate, I'll take from the front, you take from the sides." Xenovia ran to the left as Kiba ran to the right. I charged at Megumi, and then spotted the other 2 enemies go after Kiba and Xenovia. "Take them out first, I'll take on Megumi. Alone." I called, but ended up talking to myself.

I got face to face with the woman, feeling my strength increase. I swung my sword in my right hand first, but had the blade blocked by her spear. I swung my left sword and only managed to cut a strand of hair from her head. She frowned and bought her leg up, bringing it down and launching me to the floor. I bounced as I rolled sideways to a stop. I stood up quickly and felt myself grow stronger, as well as the pain numb. "Issei, can I borrow some power?" He nodded and rushed over to me. "You need to be healed." I shook my head. "I'm fine." "Transfer." His gear spoke as he transferred power to me. I charged forward again, but swung both swords at the same time. I cut an X right into her, but it seemed to do nothin. I watched as the man launched Kiba away, and then noticed Xenovia had already been stopped, both with a fatal injury but nothing else. "Trust me on this, everyone step back." I spoke as I stumbled back. The serpent crawled at me at immense speeds and I cut into it's face. It fell to the side as I pierced a sword through it's chin. From what I could tell, it was dead.

"Maybe be as easy to kill as that. If you really want to please me." I spoke as I turned my attention towards Megumi. "What are you going to do? I'm too powerful for you." I nodded. "You might be, but with everyone's help, maybe not." I began to take power from everyone to strengthen up, including my enemies. I then caused the blades of my sword to glow white. I charged forward towards Megumi and stopped taking energy. I swung my blade at her, leaving a large cut in her arm. I then pierced both my blades through her stomach and lifted her in the air, blood splashing over me. I began to glow white. "Goodbye, everyone. It was fun whilst it lasted, but like before. I'm leaving again, permanently this time."

(Issei's POV)

"Damn it Yuki, what are you doing?" I charged towards him using the boosters on my balance breaker. A large explosion surrounded him and sent a wave of air at us, launching us backwards and to the floor, I kept myself upright by digging my gauntlet in the ground. I watched as the explosion engulfed the other 2 enemies, and extended towards us. Before we could move, the explosion engulfed the ORC members, including me. Yet... We seemed unharmed. I looked at myself, the flames shot straight past me. I stumbled through the flames and they disappeared, revealing that the only people who were harmed were Megumi, and the other 2, both unresponsive and potentially dead. I stepped up to Megumi, next to her was a 'pawn' evil piece on the ground. I picked it up, holding it out in front of me. I then spotted the 2 katanas, still in Megumi's body. "Yuki, What did you do?" I asked upset. I then turned around, spotting Rias who seemed worried.

"Yuki?" Koneko asked as she stepped forwards towards me. "He's gone?" Rias asked as she fell to her hands and knees. Koneko began to cry, was she really that close to Yuki? I stepped towards Rias and knelt down. "I'm sorry, here." I spoke as I placed the piece down in front of her, it had a crimson glow inside of it, like a small aura. "Is he...gone?" Koneko asked as she stepped over to me. I nodded.
