(??? POV)

"Look over here." A voice closed out in the darkness. "Who's there?" I asked, attempting to summon my glove, only for it to not work. "Don't even try it, I have control here." The voice spoke as the surroundings went from black and purple to becoming swallowed by white. I began to walk forward, and with every step, a large chunk of the area was filled up, creating a landscape which I recognised as the school Issei attended with Rias. "Welcome to my humble abode." I looked up, spotting a man standing on the roof, staring down at me. They had large, titanium white wings which extended outwards, but seemed shatter and unconnected to the person themselves. "Just who are you?" I asked as I stepped back. They jumped down from the roof and slowly floated to an elegant landing on the floor. "My name is Kuraguke, wielded of the gear allowing me to control light."

I noticed a pattern up their arm which seemed somewhat unusual, like runic writing. "This is nothing but a mere dream, however, dreams can be fatal, can't they?" I looked at him confused. "You ever noticed why you wake up from a dream before a death or something? That's because you can overcome the influence. However, you're in my domain, which means I control when you wake up." I shrugged. "I still can't die." He laughed. "Are you ridiculous? We wake up from dreams before we die - so we don't die. I've taken that ability from you, which means you can die in this dream, permanently, especially without the ability to use your powers."

They swung their arm at me, causing a large wave to move at me, tearing through the ground. I stumbled to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. "Just accept death." They spoke as they continued to launch attacks at me. "I can't use any magic, I'm done for." I thought for a second. "Hang on, this is a dream right?" They nodded and paused for a second. "So I can control it if it's mine." They launched a massive attack. "Don't even try it." I smiled as I created a large sword in front of me using my thoughts. It floated ahead of me, and I grasped the handle. I sliced multiple times through the attack and it disappeared. I charged at them, and they stepped back. "Wake up!" I called as I threw my sword at them. It shattered from the tip of the blade to he handle, causing the handle to slam against their chest.

They stepped back, and turned around, a large shadow looming over behind them. This shadow was like a thick fog, a black one with grey eyes - which stood high and mighty above everything else. I watched it as it moved it's hands around the person, and cupped them in it's palms. "You're such a let down." They spoke as they began to tighten their hand. The surrounding area began to swarm with darkness and fog, and I rushed at the shadow. I recreated a sword and tried to stab the fog, only for the blade to disappear into it and do nothing else. I stepped back as they backhanded me, launching me to the side and the person to the floor. "You're one of his lackeys." I laughed to myself about the person who was now sitting up.

I lunged at the shadow, but it was too late. It moved in front of me and grasped ahold of my neck tightly. I grasped it's wrist with both my hands, and managed to slip free. I looked towards the person sat on the floor, who looked mortified. I then glanced at the runes, and spotted a glowing spot with 5 fingerprints. I charged at the person and placed my hand so the fingers and thumb matched up with the prints. My hand began to glow as the shadow charged at me. The runes extended up my wrist as I made a shield between me and the shadow. I took all the runes off the person as they slumped backward onto the floor. "Watch out, because I'm coming for you now." I spoke as I shot past the shield. I held my hand at them, a blinding white light appearing. A large circle appeared between us. "I can't allow this joke to go on further." The shadow spoke as I stepped back. The runes whipped away from my wrist and I was launched backwards to the floor.
"Your time is up soon, however, I'm willing to give you extra time, but watch out, because the Occult Research Club is at serious risk now." They spoke as I continued to fly backwards. "In 3...2...1..."

I opened my eyes, waking up from whatever that dream was. I looked around, taking deep breaths, causing Rias to look at me confused. "What's wrong?" She asked me and I quickly stood up, rushing to the window. I peered towards the school, right to the point we were all standing, there was nothing there.
