III - 11 - Unlocked

<Kana's POV>

I looked at the ring on my hand. "What is this?" Rias looked at it. "Your sacred gear probably, that's more than likely what caused the pain." I nodded. "How do I use it?" Rias shrugged. "I don't know." It then began to glow blue as I placed my finger on it. I then tapped it again and it glowed red. I touched it again, and it turned green, but when I touched it a last time, it returned to blue. A knight from the opposing team appeared out of the corner of my vision and drew his sword. I placed my hand up to point him out to Rias, but instead created a circle on my finger. It launched 3 giant beams which swirled around each other at him, the same colour as the choice of ring. They collided and created 3 large explosions, red, green and blue filled the area. The circle on my finger disappeared as the smoke began to leave.

The knight began to stand, so I quickly changed the ring. It changed red, but didn't do anything. The knight charged at me, and Rias launched an attack at him. The attack didn't seem to phase him, and he bought the sword right at me. I fell backwards and stuck my hand out, whilst also opening it. A large sword materialised in my hand, from what I assumed was my ring. I blocked the attack and landed on the ground. I threw my sword, and got him right through the throat. He stumbled back and began to fade. The 2nd bishop launched a beam at us, but the cloaked person wrapped in dark clothing blocked the attack. He then charged forward, and cut right through the bishop in one clean slice. He then turned to look at us. Rias reacted slightly but stopped. "Who is that?" Rias smiled. "Don't worry." The man put away his sword, making sure it was secure in the holster attached to his waist. 3 pawns and the king then stepped out from the building across the grounds. Each of the pawns created part of a line, which the king cowered behind.

I cloaked man put his 2 fingers together and chanted something before charging forward. He placed his hand on the holster but didn't draw his sword. He then quickly pulled out his sword, and sliced at the side pawn. He then holstered his sword and slid to a stop. The pawn fell forward turning to dust. I shot a magic attack at the second pawn, but he blocked it using a strange gear on his arm. Rias then launched multiple attacks at the king as Kiba charged at one of the pawns. The other person, who seemed very mysterious had blanked out, so he didn't realise the king charging an attack. "Watch out!" I ran towards the man, but the attack was launched at him. He was launched across the grounds and landed on the floor. He groaned as he began to get up.

The king then launched another attack at him, so I charged at the king with the sword. I tried to cut him, but a strange barrier around him stopped me. He then hit me with an attack. Everything fell dead silent, as everything around me turned darker and slightly grey, along with it all beginning to spin around in front of me. I stumbled back and launched a giant beam at him. He was launched into a wall, but I had the last pawn grab me. They threw me to the floor. "Promotion to Rook." I grabbed the pawn and threw him into the king. I then grabbed the pawn and threw him into the floor. He began to fade to dust, and then the man began to scream. He instantly began to glow black, and had strange chains around him appear. They were made out of black mist, but seemed to inflict pain. I went to step over to him but was stopped by Rias. "It's over." She turned to the king who was laughing. "Not yet." Kiba put his sword blade straight through the king's jaw, his body fell to the floor. He began to turn to dust as everything around us engulfed in darkness.

<Yuki's POV>

I sat up in a dark room, there were lots of hospital beds, most were empty while a few had people in them. In fact it was people from my sister's club. I sat up, and then looked at myself. I was wrapped in bandages around the stomach. I stood up, and stepped towards the door. I was instantly stopped by someone who opened it, Rias. "Yuki, relax yourself." I frowned. "What happened out there? I thought the spell was gone." Rias shook her head. "I thought so too, but that's not what I saw. That means you have to be more careful." I then looked at my gauntlet. "How'd you know it was me?" Rias pointed at my face. "Your eye gives you away, especially when it goes grey." I nodded. "How did you survive anyway?"  Rias proceeded to change the topic. "I created a clone which was hidden in the shadows, and when I began to fade, I teleported away." Rias nodded. "But How didn't you fade?" I didn't answer to begin with, because I thought I heard someone talking. "I healed myself once I had gone, after all, that's what you wanted, anything to release her gear."

"Oh, is that so?" I turned around shocked, it was Kana; who had woken up. "So you played me?" I looked towards Rias who was leaving the room. "I'll leave you two to talk." She closed the door behind her. "Why would you lie to me, especially something like death." Kana continued. I didn't know what to say. "Your gonna blank what I've said?" She shouted at me and I shook my head. "It was a request from Rias." She stormed past me. "So what, I didn't know you would live, just like everyone else here, I thought you were dead. You were around me, but encouraged the aura takeover." She left the room leaving me alone with everyone in the dark. I punched the wall. "Fuck." I gritted my teeth. "Why did I do that?" I looked at my fiat, and then at the hole in the wall. I placed my hand in the hole and created my glove. It began to glow and the wall repaired. I looked at my bleeding fist.

I stepped out of the room and looked around. We were somewhere I didn't actually know, but the view was amazing from outside the window I was staring at. I looked around outside, the sun beamed down on Kuoh. I stepped along the hallway following Kana's route.
