IV - 1 - Lights Out, The Awakening's Begun

"Yo, Issei?" Issei turned to face me. "Sup?" He began to step over to me. "Do you even know what we're looking for?" He nodded. "A man in golden armour, he's been causing trouble around here and we need to make sure nothing else happens." I nodded. "Is he familiar with demons?" Issei nodded again. "He uses magic, so we'll need to be careful." I looked away for a second. "Do we know what magic?" Issei shook his head. "Nobody can remember him after being attacked." I stepped away for a second and over towards one of the randomly scattered trees. I turned on my flashlight and peered around the dark using it. "I don't think he's coming you know. Maybe we should go back to everyone else." Issei shook his head. "It was a request from Rias."

A twig snapping caught my attention. I quickly drew my sword and looked towards the source of the noise. There was a girl stepping towards me. She was smiling, and seemed unarmed, and without armour. "Someone's here, an unarmed girl." Issei rushed over, but hadn't created his gauntlet. "I'm sorry, but this is restricted area, so please leave." The girl then looked me directly in the eyes, and just stood staring at me. I took a deep breath. "Excuse me." I called out to her again. She tilted her head slightly and charged at me. I tried to stop her using my hand but she grabbed it. She pulled my towards her and went for my shoulder. She pulled my shoulder down, and placed her head on my shoulder. She then turned her head so she was looking at my neck and slid her head along. Before I could push her off, she bit me. I quickly threw her off me, and held my sword in front of me. I placed my hand on the wound, blood coated my hand.

"What did you do?" I began to feel dizzy and then took deep breaths. She lunged at me again, so I pierced my sword through her stomach. She slid down the blade and grabbed me. Issei quickly punched her, using his boosters to add more strength to his hit, and the blade cut straight through her hip. I quickly launched an attack at her, and blew her up. This sent a large light through the trees and into the dark revealing someone, in armour. "Did you see that?" I looked towards Issei. Issei quickly created his balance breaker. "I don't know what I saw." I launched a beam into the shadows where I saw the figure. The area lit up, he was gone. I looked around, and created my glove. "Wow, you are actually using me." I spotted movement out the corner of my eye and turned. The man lunged at Issei with a knife. I teleported in the way and held my sword high, blocking the man's knife. Sparks shot into the air and he shot back. His golden armour reflected the light heading towards him.

"Who are you?" I called out to the man. He began to laugh. "You don't remember me, darkness dragon." An orb on his shoulder blade began to light up yellow and white. I looked at him for a second, we stared each other down. "No." He frowned. "Hang on, is that you, light dragon?" I looked at my glove and then the man charged at me. I launched myself backwards and slammed through a circle. Armour began to appear around me, and came together forming one big set. I slid backwards and put away my sword. "It's nice to meet you, my name is Yuki." The man laughed as he swung his knife down at me. I stuck my hands up and caught the blade between my fingers. I began to bend it, and then disarmed the man. "What's your name?" He looked me in the eyes. "Luke." I threw him to the ground. "Well Luke, it's nice to meet you, but I'm afraid we're running short on time." I grabbed him by the arm and lifted him up. I began to spin around, and threw him upwards. As he shot into the air, I created a bow and pulled the string back. 4 arrows attacked to each other at the end appeared, and I fired them. They separated and began to spin around each other as the climbed upwards. Each one pierced through Luke and exploded one by one.

I looked up into the night sky, he wasn't falling with the rubble. The smoke began to collect into a sphere, but then seemed to separate into small pieces. From the smoke, he charged down at me. He then seemed to change shape into a bat, and flew overhead. He landed on a tree branch and transformed back to a human. He launched himself at me, this time creating a dagger. He created a circle on his other hand, and then seemed to teleport from right in front of me. He came from the corner of my sight and sliced into my hip. I stumbled backwards and created my shield. "What just happened?" He then seemed to teleport to the other side of my vision and cut me again. "He's using illusion magic!" I launched myself up into the air using my wings. "What do you mean?" "He can use his magic to mess with the target, and deal damage at the same time."
