A portal appeared ahead of me and Kana, and opened up. From the portal stepped Rias. "What's up?" I asked her as we stepped closer. "We need you for a match, a rating game." I nodded. "Like the last?" She nodded. "Yeah, except to opponents are different, they are some made up group that what's to put their name out there." I looked towards Kana who seemed happy. "Sure, except should Kana come? She only just joined." She hugged up to me. "Don't worry, I'll be ok if I join in." She created her glove. "After all, I've got this to help me." I nodded and followed Rias to the portal. "We don't know their magic so be careful."

The area around me morphed into the school building. A siren sounded, revealing the match to begin. Everyone was separated into teams, except for the pawns, who had to stay back to protect Rias and Asia. I sat down on one of the chairs and shut my eyes. I took deep breaths as I kept calm. It was like I were meditating, except it allowed me to use any shadows around me as a weapon. I began to move shadows to the perfect locations, so if needed, I could use them as a weapon. I then noticed something. "The whole opposing team, minus the king is heading through the centre of the school towards us." Rias looked towards me confused as I opened my eyes. "How did you know?" I pointed towards the centre. "I could see them." I began to create a circle but then stopped. "What is it?" I looked around the room as I became unfocused, causing me to lose track of what Rias was saying.

I pulled out my sword and began to walk around. "Something seems off." I stepped towards the side of the room, but an attack surrounded me. It began to inflict pain upon me and that's when I realised what was going on. "There are traps here?" I questioned. A large bang came from below us, as well as multiple footsteps. I diffused the trap, and started to move shadows around the room. "Everyone hide." Everyone his behind things, whilst I jumped up and grabbed ahold of a wooden plank. The doors swung open as he shadows turned into a copy of me. I was instantly drained of energy and powers. The clone then seemed to do everything I thought of. 2 pawns for the other team stepped in and drew swords at my shadow. "Don't do this, you don't want me to." My clone called out. I used my final strength to teleport over to where Issei was hidden whilst I also hid. "Can I quickly have some energy?" He nodded and boosted me. I then created my gauntlet and copied his gear. I then teleported into the centre of the room with the clone. The 2 pawns looked at us confused. A large bang came from outside as fire and smoke extended past the windows.

My clone charged forward and tried to take down the first pawn. She blocked the attack whilst the second stood her ground, staring me down. I watched my clone constantly throw different attacks at her, whilst somehow not even needing to take a step. It then attempted to stab right into the pawns stomach, but the sword shattered before it even connected. A portal then appeared next to it, and an attack tore straight through it causing it to fade. I placed my hand on the handle of Kusanagi. I then peered back to the door, there was a knight and a rook there too, but they seemed to be guarding a bishop. I took a step back and created a shield between all of us. I then threw an orb at the wall behind me which caused it to explode. "Run, now." Everyone got up from their hiding spot and left, except Issei who stayed. I turned to him. "Leave." The shield shattered and the first pawn charged at me. I drew my sword and blocked the attack. The knight took multiple shots at me, but I blocked each one. The rook then kicked me against the wall. I coughed up blood and smiled. "So, this is a tag team?" I stood up straight and went to use a spell. I then stopped, and instead created chains which wrapped around everyone except the first pawn.

The bishop began to glow and all the chains seemed to explode slightly, and shatter. The rook charged at me, so I bought my sword at her. She caught the blade and shattered it, and then threw me through the hole in the wall. I landed on the ground outside and pushed myself up. Kana ran up to me, checking if I was ok. "Kana, can you use any sort of weapon?" She shook her head. "Ok, if an attack that's magic comes at you, catch it with your glove, and throw it back." She nodded. I then watched as my sword repaired itself. I then put it away, and created broken armour. I tried to use my wings but couldn't. Instead, a chill shot through me, and I instantly felt like something was behind me. I spun around, and in the trees was a girl holding something. Multiple circles began to appear around me. I looked around as each began to glow. They then all launched attacks at me and Kana. I created my dragon wings and wrapped them around Kana, while also taking the rest of the attacks. They all stopped and I fell forward. Kana was unwrapped as my wings disappeared. I went to push myself up but felt a blade on the back of my neck. It slid down my back, and went straight through my stomach. I coughed up blood, as I noticed the blade stick through the other side of me. The knight was blown up, and his sword was pulled out from me. I fell to the ground, and casted one more spell before loosing all my energy.

<Kana's POV>

I looked at my glove. "This has to do something!" I then remembered something and looked up towards the opposing queen who was creating a large attack. She threw it down towards Rias. I ran in the way and caught the attack. It then grew bigger, and I threw it in Yuki's direction. It tore through the 2 pawns and the knight, and caused them to turn to a strange dust. I ran up to Yuki and picked him up. I began to drag him away from everyone into a building. "Wake up." I slapped his cheek and he opened his eyes. "What's going on?" He groaned and tried to sit up. "What can I do? I need help." He began to turn to dust. "Just make whatever will help you." I created a large gauntlet which began to extend covering my whole arm. I then placed it on his stomach, and he stopped fading, and began to reform. I was healing him, quicker than he could fade. The doors then swung open, and an attack came at me through the entrance. I was launched away from him, and he continued to fade. He smiled at me, and then disappeared.

I felt a teardrop fall down my cheek to the ground. I gritted my teeth in anger as I watched him completely disappear. I began to get up, whilst Kiba stormed into the gym with Issei and Rias. I was engulfed in an aura, and charged at the bishop who was laughing. She caught my hand, and threw me to the ground. She created a spear and pressed it against me. I then grabbed the spear, and snapped it. I shot up, and punched her as hard as I could. I then caused the gear on my arm to disappear. I then held my gauntlet towards Rias, and it began to glow. The orb then began to glow red, and transform, whilst also seeming to copy Issei's at the same time. "What did you do?" I spoke as I began to grit my teeth again. I began to step forward, and stopped a few steps later, taking deep breaths. I then held the glove in front of me, and turned my hand into a fist. I created a large circle on my hand, and began to run forward. An orb appeared just ahead of the circle, and continued to float in place. I then punched her with all my might, the orb exploded and a large beam tore right through her. She was thrown through the wall, along with the beam and disintegrated into dust.

I then noticed one of her friends, the queen. "Wow, a newb beat her, what a shame." The queen began to laugh to herself as she created a large mist around her hand. She then stuck it up into the air, large clouds began to swirl around the gymnasium's roof. I went to launch an attack, but stopped as the mist created a barrier between us. I waited a few seconds, and then felt a pain shoot through my hand. A ring appeared on my finger, as well as my hand being engulfed in flames. I threw off the glove and it landed on the floor, the burning finally stopped. Rias charged in the way of an oncoming attack I hadn't noticed and created a barrier. I grabbed my hand as hard as I could, the burning wouldn't stop. The gear Yuki had given me had shattered, and turned to dust, just like him. That's when I noticed something. "Yuki's not dead." I picked up part of the dust. "He's had his clone die." Rias looked at me confused. "He died with you, didn't he?" I nodded.

"Kind of, but he disappeared like the clone gauntlet." Rias shook her head. "It's impossible, but come on we have to leave." We headed for the door, but the barrier shattered. "His sword." I looked back as I spoke. "Its gone too, they couldn't just wipe a mythical sword like that." Rias frowned. "He's gone, but it's only." I couldn't hear what Rias said, because the inside of the gym had exploded. We shut the outside door once everybody was out and looked around. "That was close." I then looked up. Glitter like objects were rising towards the sky. That's when I noticed someone on the roof. They were wrapped up in dark clothing, and holding a katana in their left hand. They then seemed to disappear when I blinked. "Strange." Rias looked at me confused. "What was?"
