Niall - It was Harry’s 21st birthday, and you were all in the states for their tour. Of course, you took him out for a night of drinking, clubbing, and fun. You decided to be the responsible one tonight, and watch over the guys with Lou. As you were talking to her and sipping your Diet Coke, you caught eyes with Niall, and smiled. It was very obvious to everyone but Niall that you were head over heels in love with him. You were just an assistant to their tour manager, so you never made a move, but you loved to spend everyday with him and the rest of the boys. He winked at you, and went back to dancing with Harry and the rest of the guys. “You’re so in love,” Lou teased, bumping her knee into yours as you sat on bar stools above the dance floor. You stuck out your tongue at her and continued to watch the people dancing and having fun. After refilling your drink, you turned and spotted Niall, currently against a wall as he had his tongue down a random girl’s throat. You nearly choked on your drink, and Lou followed your gaze to the scene in front of you. Your heart sank as you were frozen in your chair, unable to look away. “Babe,” Lou started, putting her arm around your shoulders. You shook your head before getting up, “I need to go for a walk,” you say, grabbing your purse and taking one last look at Niall before heading out of the club and back to your hotel room.
Zayn - It was plastered all over the magazine cover. Zayn and Mystery Girl Caught Kissing at Midnight You hated it, but you couldn’t look away. You couldn’t throw the magazine away. You’d been in love with Zayn the moment you met him, but someone like him would never be in love with someone like you. An ordinary girl with an ordinary job. This girl however was not ordinary. She was beautiful enough to be a model. She had beautiful hair, lovely clothes. She looked like she belonged with Zayn. Louis walked in as you were reading it and sat beside you on the floor. “Whatcha readin’?” he asks, curiously. Trying to play it cool, you say, “Just catching up on my gossip.” He puts his arm around you and places a friendly kiss to your temple. “Love, you’ve got to tell him at some point. You know all of this was for her right? For her publicity?” You shook your head as your eyes started to water. “Him and I can never work, Louis. We just can’t,” you cry into his chest. You spent what felt like hours on the floor in Louis’ arms before falling asleep, the pictures of Zayn and the Mystery Girl flooding your dreams.
Liam - Growing up with Liam, you didn’t have a lot of friends. You were always quiet, and kept your nose in your studies. He was your happiness. Your way out of the darkness at school and at home. You didn’t have a great upbringing, and being with him made everything okay. You were weeks away from graduating high school, and it was currently your 18th birthday. He invited a bunch of people from your school and other schools around, and after getting ready, you made your way down to the garage, and you were welcomed with a kiss on your cheek from Liam, and him offering you a cup of alcohol. “Happy Birthday, babe!” he yelled over the music. You smiled shyly and muttered a “thank you” before watching him walk away to mingle with a group of people. You made your way to your own group and chatted and drank through the night, thanking everyone who came up to you to wish you a happy birthday. All night, you hoped Liam would come up and take you to a quiet part of the house, or sneak you away outside and you two could be alone, but it never happened. After a few people went home, you were searching the house for Liam, wanting to thank him for putting this all together. As you looked in your backyard, you walked out to him kissing one of the girls who tormented you since kindergarten. Heartbroken, you quietly shut the door and made your way upstairs to the bathroom, spraying cold water on your face before making the long walk home alone.
Harry - It was currently One Direction’s fourth album launch party, and you were in the middle of the dance floor, having a great time with Harry. Both of you being slightly drunk, you were pulling out ‘the sprinkler’, ‘the q-tip’, and many more of your best dance moves. “I need a drink,” you yell over the music to him, quickly slipping away to grab some water. As you reached the bar and ordered a glass of ice water, Sophia came up and tapped you on the shoulder. “Looks like you’re having fun!” she said, a bit tipsy herself. You nodded, “Why aren’t you out there with us?” “Oh please,” she started, “I can’t pull off the sprinkler like you two.” You laughed, chugging your water. You spent a bit of time with her leaning on the bar, watching the people dance and celebrate. “Have you told him yet?” she asks, winking at you. You shook your head and smiled, finishing off your drink. “The time isn’t right, Soph.” Scoffing, she put her hands on your shoulders, “Y/N, you need to tell him. If you could only see how he looks at you. It’s the same as how you look at him.” You blushed and tried to find him in the crowd of dancing people. As your eyes found his mop of hair, they saw his lips attached to another girl who’s dress was much to tight for your liking. You felt your heart sink to your stomach, and you turned around, not being able to watch anymore. “Shots?” Sophia asked, rubbing your back. You nodded, “Yes. Lots of shots.”
Louis - You were lounging around on the bus with the boys, joking around, and watching tv. This was the usual Wednesday night of waiting around until their concert started. Currently, your legs were hanging over Niall’s knees as you watched another episode of Family Guy, and you wondered where Louis was. Probably on the phone you thought, getting up to see for yourself. As you made your way to his bunk, you opened the curtain to see his bed empty, sheets in a ball on the end of the bed. There was only one other place in the bus he could be, and just as you opened the door to the back room, you saw him sitting back on the couch, a new girl on top of him, attacking his face and letting out fake moans. “Oh my god,” you yelped, not meaning to interrupt anything. They broke the kiss and Louis jumped, almost knocking the girl to the floor. “I’m sorry!” you said before quickly shutting the door, making your way back to the front lounge area. “Got another one in there?” Niall asked, giggling to himself. You nodded, not trusting your voice. You were shocked, embarrassed, but most of all hurt. You’d had feelings for Louis for a while now, but you never wanted to act on them. Now, it looks like you’ve missed your chance as he made his way through girl after girl. You went on watching tv, trying to take your mind off of the events that just happened as you wipe a tear falling down your cheek.
