Niall: Bumping into him at the club was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to you. Until it got even better when he asked you if you’d go home with him. The obvious answer was yes and as soon as you were inside the door, he was all over you. It was when he had you on his bed and he was in the process of taking your jeans off that you began to have second thoughts about this. Niall had gotten your jeans down to your knees and that’s when he began to laugh. He laughed so much that he dropped his forehead onto your thigh and just let his shoulders shake with the sound. Most of the time, that would be something to be annoyed about. Guys don’t usually just start laughing while they’re getting you naked, so you nudged his shoulder until he looked up at you with bright blue eyes that glowed in the light of his beside lamp. “What’s so funny?” Niall pushed himself up off of you just enough so that he could struggle out of his own jeans, revealing that you both were wearing matching underwear patterns. It had been a special glow-in-the-dark space pattern that you’d thought was neat, so you’d bought a pair and Niall had on the matching boxerbriefs. You laughed as well, drawing him in so that you could kiss him and get back to business.

Louis: The party was in full blast by the time that you arrived at your friend’s apartment, ready to ring in the New Year by being absolutely wasted. the past year hadn’t been the best to you. Although you’d gained some wonderful things, you’d lost a lot and made a fool of yourself more times than you could count, so you were hoping that this night would be spent drunk and when you woke up in the morning, you’d have a clean slate, ready to be marked up with only good things for the new year. Already well on your way to drunk, you met Louis who was talking with your friend when you went looking for him. He passed Louis off to you even though you were in no condition to be entertaining anyone, but apparently Louis was the entertainment for you. Both of you were drunk and so when you talked to each other the nonsense that was passed back and forth actually made a lot of sense. When the midnight hour came at last, it was Louis who crashed his mouth into yours, and although the kiss was one of the worst that you’d ever had, you let it continue. From midnight to one o’clock to your bedroom back home. Waking up the next morning, you knew that your slate was wiped clean from last year’s horrors, and you knew that your fresh start was dawning with a horrific hangover and a warm arm and leg tangled with you. Louis batted his eyes open when you traced a finger lightly over his cheekbones and for the next few minutes, you both slowly woke up with soft touches from the other. Until he thumbed over the specific lines of ink that drew along the outside of your forearm. It had been pure coincidence that brought you and Louis together, but it had to be fate that had made you both choose identical arrow tattoos and have them placed in the exact same spot.

Liam: You were nervous to be able to participate in this major red carpet event. Somehow, you’d wrangled an invitation to be on the red carpet, around the celebrities, and like, not behind barriers but actually on the red carpet. You spent far too much money on an outfit, on hair and makeup and anything else that you could think to spend money on. And then you were there and these huge celebrities were walking right in front of you; people that you never thought you’d see were almost touching you. When a large group of people passed by where you were standing, you noticed one of them had dropped something, and upon closer inspection, you realized it was a phone. Hurriedly, you picked it up and followed after the group, hoping one of them would turn around to search for their phone and then you’d happily present it to them him or her. But they didn’t so you managed to push yourself into what you later realized was a form of a protective bubble. By the time that you heard a man say “Oh I’ve lost my phone.” You were back out of the bubble, now in the front and the voice was in front of you as well. Liam Payne was patting his pockets as he followed his four bandmates towards a camera to be interviewed. Just as they reached the smiling woman and the camera, you caught up to him. “I’ve found your phone. You should keep a better eye on that.” You smiled and he smiled and for a second the lights and the people all around you faded away. “Is this your girlfriend, Liam? We’ve heard rumors that you’ve got a new lady in your life. And you two are matching so well!” You glanced down at your outfit and then at his and everything from the colors to the patterns were matching and you couldn’t have planned it better if you’d tried. “I don’t think she’s my girlfriend, but she might be.” He winked at you and you blushed, vanishing back into the crowd before another word could be spoken.

Zayn: After his breakup with Perrie, he took Hatchi and left her the rest of the animals. Even when he was on tour, he brought Hatchi along and the other boys didn’t mind (although security and several other members of their team did) so he kept him on the bus with him or sneaked him into non-pet-friendly hotels. It was when they were stopped near a place with a dog park that he decided he’d sneak out from the hotel and take Hatchi to the dog park so he had a bit of room to run around. There weren’t too many other dogs there, but there were enough that he couldn’t always see his dog, but when he did, Hatchi always seemed to have moved very quickly from the last spot he’d been spotted in. When it was time to go, Zayn leashed his dog and returned to the hotel, fighting his dog the whole way because he didn’t seem to want to go back with Zayn. After Hatchi acted completely out of character the whole evening and then growled when Niall tried to put him (which has never happened - he loves Niall), Zayn was worried about the puppy. Maybe life on the road was too much for him after all. Before the show the next day, Zayn finally noticed something odd. One: Hatchi’s dark muzzle was lighter than normal, and Two: Hatchi was a girl. Now Zayn wasn’t always the most observant person, but he was almost certain that he would’ve noticed by now if his male dog had been a female. After making a call or two, he set up an appointment at a veterinarian’s office to see if they could find the owner of this dog because it surely wasn’t his Hatchi. Ten minutes after his arrival at the vet’s office, he was given your name and address and he was back out into the rainy day, on his way to find you and his dog before he had to go on stage that night. Luckily, you answered the door after he knocked on it a few times. He could hear the frantic barking of his dog and he could see a bandage on your hand where the dog had probably bitten you. “I think we mixed up our dogs.” He spoke after giving you a few moments to figure out why Zayn Malik could be standing on your doorstep. “Really? Thank God. I didn’t know what had gotten into her, but she was acting so different.” He passed you back your dog and you welcomed him inside so that he could retrieve his own little trouble-maker. Hatchi bounded over to him, happily barking, and when Zayn lifted him up he licked every inch of Zayn’s face as if Zayn had been away on tour for months and just gotten home. You invited him to stay for a little while since it had just begun to rain, and that’s how fate threw the two of you and your dogs together.

Harry: If you believe in things like soulmates, it’s not that hard to believe that there’s a way to identify each other. Like a mark or a word or something just so that you know for sure that that other person is “the one.” When you met Harry, it wasn’t obvious at first. He was a great guy with a lovely smile and some really awful jokes that still drew a laugh from you. But that was it. He was just a guy that you’d met in passing, and that’s all that you expected him to be. A few months passed and you were in a totally new place and you’d only made a few friends, but one of them wanted to set you up on a blind date with a guy that they knew. You were hesitant because many blind date stories that you’d heard resulted in weird people that you didn’t want to have to deal with honestly. After your friend convinced you that this guy wasn’t weird, he was normal… well, normalish, you agreed to the blind date. They didn’t even tell you his name. You showed up at the fancy restaurant in the color that your friend had told you to wear and as you sat with your back to the door, you never saw him coming. Harry sat down across from you at the table looking just as surprised as you to be sat here on a blind date with you. “Well, well, what a coincidence to be here with you.” The night went well, but you didn’t know if it would continue on into anything more. But then it did. Harry asked you to come with him to a few events and you were introduced to the other boys by name, but Harry never specified what relationship you had. Everything changed when he was holding your hand while he drove and you were watching his fingers intertwined with yours. That’s when you spotted the birthmark on his wrist. It was quite familiar to you, but not on his wrist. “That’s odd.” You said, withdrawing your hand from his so that he turned to frown at you quickly. “What is?” You flipped your wrist over to reveal your own birthmark, perfectly identical to his. “We match.” That turned his frown into a smile and Harry laughed, “I knew it all along.”
