Liam: He was snoring in the passenger seat, his head lolling a what seemed like an uncomfortable angle. You were driving home to see your parents which was a several hour long car ride. For the last hour and a half you’d been driving to give him the chance to rest so that he could drive the last bit. The radio had long since become boring, so now you drove in silence. At least the scenery was pretty. Liam sat up suddenly, rubbing his hand over his stubbly jaw. “Are we almost there yet?” You shook your head and readjusted your grip on the steering wheel. “Not even close.”
Zayn: The sky had long since faded from blue to black, but the stars were only just beginning to shine down as your car headed further away from the big cities of the western US. As you yawned, Zayn looked over catching the urge to yawn from you. “Maybe we should find a motel to sleep in or something?” He suggested even though it didn’t appear that there was any civilization for miles around. You yawned again and sleepily reached over for his hand. Within the next few minutes, you decided that you were both much too tired to go on until the next town, so you pulled over to the side of the road and climbed into the back seat of the car, pressed tightly to each other on the narrow seat.
Niall: He was so relaxed and happy, looking like a natural in the driver’s seat as he drove down the sunny road. “An American roadtrip was a great idea.” He sighed, pushing his sunglasses higher on his nose. Your feet were propped up on the dashboard as you switched through songs on his ipod, trying to find the perfect one. “I couldn’t agree more, Niall.” You’d been wanting to do something together for a while, so you figured this could be it while he had a few months off. He grinned over at you, “I love you, Y/N, so much.” You pulled some of the junk food out of the back seat of the car and tossed it into his lap. “Love you too, Horan.”
Harry: It was awkwardly quiet. Maybe it hadn’t been the best idea to ask him for a ride home when you barely even knew him. All you knew was that he was Harry Styles and he lived near you and you’d been at that party together. Maybe you had a crush on him and maybe your friends had dared you to get a ride home from him, but that didn’t mean that you had to do it. “So, Y/N, have you been to many of Grimmy’s parties?” “No. Tonight was the first one. Hopefully it wasn’t my last.” Harry chuckled, “I doubt it will be. If he doesn’t invite you, I’m extending an invitation. You can be my plus one.” He winked and you blushed. When at last he stopped in front of your home, you unbuckled the seat belt and opened your mouth to say thanks, but before you could, he leaned over and kissed you. “Bye, Y/N.”
Louis: The rainy view outside the window flashed by and you sighed, casting a look into the rear view mirror to see your friend and her boyfriend feeling each other up in the backseat. As you wrinkled your nose, you felt a hand tickle up your thigh and you glanced down to see that it was just Louis’. He grinned over at you while still trying to keep his eyes on the slick road. “Can’t we go any faster, Lou? I don’t want them to go any further on our backseat, and if you drive any slower, they just might.” He laughed and squeezed your leg. “Sorry, but I can’t. We could crash because the road’s wet.” So Louis continued driving at his incredibly slow pace and you sat there trying to tune out the noises from behind you.
