Zayn: December — When it came to Christmas, both you and Zayn acted like little kids. Even though Zayn didn’t religiously celebrate Christmas, he still loved everything about it: the gifts, decorations, food — everything. You both wanted to start decorating the house the day December started (honestly, you wanted to start in November, but no store was selling decorations just yet). On December 1, you both started planning what you were going to get for your families. You became the most adorable yet annoying cliché couple in the world, but you loved it because you loved Christmas and snow and December. One of your many pastimes was baking, especially cookies. You’d drink a lot of chai tea because “it tasted like Christmas”. And another thing that couldn’t go unnoticed (and un-teased) was Zayn’s birthday the following month. Late at night, after hours of Christmas-related excitement, you would lay on his chest, and remind him in a cute but teasing tone, “you become a senior citizen next month.”
Harry: July — Ah, the midst of the beautiful, hot season that is summer. Unlike you, your boyfriend absolutely loved summer. To you, it meant sweat-stink, heat, and way too many people everywhere. When Niall held a barbecue at his house and said to bring a swimsuit, you mentally cussed at him while Harry just happily pranced around, as if to tease me. He sang some made up song that said something like, “Summer is here and I’m happy, but my girlfriend is the summer-grinch, and she’s not.” As we made our way to Niall’s house, Harry nudged me, and in a whiny tone, he asked, “Why don’t you like summer? It’s fun! Do you want me to start randomly singing Olaf’s summer song?” You chuckled, “I’d love that — I love Olaf. But I don’t love Summer, H. Never have, never will.” He exaggeratedly pouted, “Are you serious?” He could be so dramatic sometimes. “You’ll see. I’ll make you love summer just as much as I love it.” You grabbed his hand, caressing it, “Good luck with that, H.”
Liam: February — Literally everyday in February was Valentine’s Day for Liam. He was such a hopeless romantic sometimes, it was adorable. When he sent Harry a message on February 1, he always ended it with ‘PS, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!” to which Harry (and the rest of the boys laughed). Every night, he’d come home with different gifts, some expensive, some cheesy, some weird. It was adorably geeky, how he did that yearly. He would make you breakfast in bed, and, when he was recording or something, he’d leave notes with cute, small messages on them such as, “I love you,” or, “You are perfect,” etc. As soon as you saw them around the house, you sent him a selfie, writing the same thing to him. And when he came home, he’d attack you with giggly kisses along your jaw and cheeks before kissing you lips. One day, after those kisses, you asked him why he loved Valentine’s Day so much. He replied with, “Because I can spoil you without you saying I had no reason to do so.”
Niall: October — Niall considered himself a Halloweeneek, a portmanteau invented by him, combining the words Halloween and geek. Every year, his costume would be amazing. Sometimes, he’d get a matching costume with one of the other boys, because “it would look awesome!” as they said. That’s why it came as a surprise to you when Niall said he wanted to stay in that Halloween. You didn’t really ask why, though, enjoying the company of your adorable boyfriend. He didn’t want to watch scary movies, like a cheesy, Halloween-loving person like him would do. He looked nervous for some apparent reason, and then you found out why. “Okay babe,” he breathed in, “I talk a lot, but when it came to this, I just had no words. So I’m getting straight to the point. Marry me? I just — I love you like hell and it’s something I’ve always thought about -“. You pressed your lips to his in a passionate way, enthusiastically nodding your head with noticeable tears in your eyes.
Louis: November — You were American, so you taught Louis the beautiful tradition that was Thanksgiving. You took him to your house back in the States so he could have an authentic Thanksgiving with an American family. He tasted everything that was on the table. He even watched the famous Macy’s parade with you and your family. He thoroughly enjoyed quality time with the love of his life’s family. He looked adorable playing soccer (football, to him) with your cousins. He taught them a few tricks, as well. He even looked adorable trying to learn the songs your family was singing. He thought you looked adorable while watching him looking adorable. When you two laid in bed that night, the first thing he said was, “I must’ve gained like 3752 pounds today. Not even playing with your cousins helped me take off some of this weight I gained today. It was worth it, though.” You giggled as you snuggled closer to him. He continued, “you know, this might be one of my favorite holidays,” and lightly kissed the top of your head.
