ZAYN //
You always found it incredibly hard to pull yourself out of bed each morning. However, as the weather grew colder and the skies turned greyer you found that waking up in the mornings grew increasingly more difficult. You check your phone for the time and sigh loudly. You need to get up and start your morning routine before your university classes began for the day. Trying desperately not to wake the sleeping form beside you, you (with much difficulty) pull the duvet cover off yourself and swing your legs over the side of your mattress, the cold air immediately covering your bare legs in goosebumps."Stay." You hear your boyfriend mumble sleepily.
"I’ve got class, Zayn." You say, leaning over him and peppering his face with good morning kisses. He groans and you can’t help but laugh. As much as you hated mornings, Zayn despised them even more.
"Just bunk off." Before you can get up, he’s pulling you back next to him. "Please?" It’s now his turn to dot kisses all over you, your face, your neck. You can’t help but giggle.
"I’m sure I won’t miss much," You say, trying to convince yourself to stay exactly where you are. Zayn smiles, his eyes heavy with sleep. He invites you back under the covers and he pulls you in close against his bare chest.
As if you really needed much convincing.

When accompanying your boyfriend on tour, early mornings were inevitable. There was always an interview to get to, shows to rehearse for or appearances to make. Liam knew tour life tired you out, so most mornings he would quietly get himself ready for the busy day ahead, allowing you to sleep through his routine. However, this meant that most days you woke up to an empty hotel room, in a foreign city and wouldn’t get to see your boyfriend until later that night. Most of the time, you were able to keep yourself occupied. There were always sights to see, or shopping to be done with the other boys girlfriends or sisters. But when it all began to become too much and you missed your boyfriend, the two of you would wake up significantly earlier than necessary in order to spend some much needed time with one another. Sure, you both would pay the price for your early mornings later on in the day, but sharing a room service breakfast and having the chance to talk with one another without feeling rushed was more than worth it.
"What a crazy rock n’ roll life I lead," Liam joked. "Up at five a.m to have my boiled eggs and soldiers." You laughed over your cup of tea. You were sat out on the balcony, fluffy hotel robes wrapped around both of you telling stories about what each of you had gotten up to the previous day. You would tell him all about the tourist-y things you and Gemma had done, or all about the damage you and Eleanor did at the shops. Liam would tell stories of the usual tour shenanigans, mainly goofy things Louis had done or said. The stories would almost always end with you laughing, near spitting out your tea.
Before he would leave, the sun would just begin to rise and you couldn’t help but admire the beauty and appreciate being awake and there with him.
But no matter how nice it was, the minute he left for the day you jumped back into bed hoping to catch another few hours of sleep.
HARRY //
It was just past six in the morning when your laptop screen sprang to life and a Skype video request chimed loudly throughout your flat. You had been awake an hour now, waiting for his call to come in. You excitedly ran from the kitchen to your bedroom, grabbing your laptop and settling yourself down on your bed. You clicked to accept the video request. His face appeared, taking up the entire screen, a wide smile plastered on his face.
"Love!" He greeted, and you couldn’t help but smile. Between the two of you there was a five hour time difference and you could tell he had just come off stage, his forehead glistened with sweat and his breaths were short and quick. You loved him like this - the moments after he finished a show, high of the incredible energy the fans gave out. He always described the feeling as pure magic.
