Harry: You sit with your hands in your lap, impatiently fidgeting with your fingers. You glance at your phone, letting a little sigh slip past your lips when you catch the time. You’re getting tired of waiting and you’re beginning to wish the time would pass a little quicker. You’ve been awake for hours and you hardly got any sleep the night before. You feel your eyelids beginning to flutter closed. You’re saved, however, when you feel a tap on your shoulder. You blink your eyes open, glancing up to see Harry smiling down at you. “Harry!” You exclaim as you use the little energy you have left to spring out of your seat, spinning around and engulfing him as tightly as possible. You feel a few tears pricking at your eyes as you pull away and grab his face, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “C’mon, let’s get out of here before I really start crying,” You say while you grab Harry’s hand. He gives your hand a gentle squeeze, whispering, “I missed you so much.”
Liam: “I can’t see you,” You mumble into your phone while your eyes frantically search the giant airport. You wander around, clutching your phone to your ear as Liam says, “I can’t see you either. What are you wearing?” You look down at your outfit and then answer, “I purposely put on the brightest color I could find so that this wouldn’t happen. I’m wearing a bright pink t-shirt. What about you?” You hear shuffling through the phone and Liam says, “Uh, I’m just wearing a white shirt. You know what, just stop wherever you are. Stay where you are andI’ll come to you. We’re probably chasing each other around without knowing it.” You do as he says, stopping abruptly where you stand. You’re in the worst possible place; right in the middle of all the traffic. You groan and stuff your phone in your pocket, hoping that Liam will find you soon. Of all things, this was exactly what you were hoping wouldn’t happen. You’ve been waiting for so long to see Liam and now you can’t even find each other. You cross your arms over your chest, desperately trying to find a little patience when you hear Liam’s voice, “(Y/N)! Oh, thank goodness.”
Niall: You’re so excited that you can hardly contain yourself. You know that you’ll be with Niall any minute, and you just want to scream at the thought of it. Months and months of communicating through texts and phone calls and occasional Skype calls can now be over. Now you can hold him close and hear his voice in person. As soon as you get a hold of his hand, you’re going to grab him and run with him. You’re going to cherish every second with him because you know there will be a time when he’ll have to leave again, as much as you hate to even think about it. You bounce around on your feet and hum a little tune to yourself, hoping to make the time go by quicker. You perk up when you hear your name, and you stand on the tips of your toes to see Niall jumping up and down and waving his arm at you. You squeal and charge straight for him as he fights to get through the crowd of people that he’s stuck in. When he’s finally free, he drops his stuff on the floor and stands with his arms wide open, wearing the biggest smile on his face as you crash into him.
Louis: You toss your plastic water bottle into the air, catch it, and then toss it up again. You’ve been doing this for about twenty minutes now and you’re pretty certain that you will lose your mind by the end of the night. The airport has calmed down now, and there are far less people, seeing as it’s going on 11:00 at night. Louis was supposed to be there hours ago, but as usual, there was a huge delay with his flights. He’s coming from countries away, so you probably should have expected this, but you’re still quite frustrated. You just want to pick up your boyfriend, whom you haven’t seen in months, and head home. You have a special dinner waiting at home, complete with sweetly scented candles and rose petals scattered on the table. This time, you untwist the cap to your water bottle and take a sip from it. You twist the cap back onto the bottle and set it down at your feet, letting your arms fall to your sides as you pace back and forth. “Hey,” A voice says, and you lift your head to see Louis standing in front of you with a smirk on his face as he adds, “Waiting for someone?”
Zayn: The radio quietly plays in the background as you sit at a red light, biting your lip in an attempt to hold back a scream. You impatiently tap your fingers on the steering wheel, thinking to yourself that this has got to be the longest red light in all of history. You’re staring at the light, waiting for it to change so you can continue your race to the airport. Zayn arrived earlier than expected and now he’s sitting alone in the airport, waiting for you. You’re both extremely eager to see each other, and a part of you wants to ditch your car and just run the rest of the way. Judging by how long this light is taking to change, you’d probably make it there quicker on foot, anyway. A sigh of relief washes over you when the light finally turns green, and you drive as fast as you legally can to avoid getting stuck behind another red light. When you get to the airport, you grab your phone and your keys and run for the entrance doors. You’re almost tripping over your own footsteps as you hurry into the airport, stopping when you see Zayn sitting alone and staring down at his phone. “Zayn!” You excitedly shout, and his head snaps up. A smile forms on his lips when he catches sight of you running straight for him.
