Liam: The minute they arrived via email from the photographer, you teared up. It had only been two weeks since the wedding, but it seemed like a lifetime ago you had said your ‘I do’s’ in front of the small crowed of loved ones. The pictures were beautiful too; they caught your kiss at the altar, the wedding party dancing until the early hours of the morning, and all of the other details you’d forget without a physical reminder. But your favorite had to be the one of you and Liam on the dance floor, gazing at each other like you had no intention of ever looking away.
Zayn: Sorting through drawers, deciding what to pack and what to toss, you stumbled upon an envelope of photos that you hadn’t seen since you started dating Zayn. You gave a cursory look through them, assuming they were of no importance, until you realized that this was the night you’d met him. It had been at a friend’s wedding, and as part of the wedding party you had danced together, immediately feeling a connection. The picture showed him grinning at you while you tipped your head back mid-laugh, looking like a couple even though you’d known each other for mere hours.
Louis: You gasped aloud when your daughter showed you the picture she’d found in a tucked away box. You could remember it like it was yesterday; the picture perfectly capturing the crazy, wonderful side of you and Louis. You had clambered onto his back, and he was running full tilt towards whoever was holding the camera, your hair flaying behind you and ecstatic smiles on both of your faces. It had been years since you’d seen this picture, but it had always been one of your favorites. You touched a hand to your face -that now had laugh lines and crow’s feet- walking off to find Louis.
Harry: You weren’t sure who took the picture. It appeared on your camera roll after a holiday season full of visiting relatives, among the other slightly blurry photos and random shots. Never the less, it seemed to be a perfect depiction of your life. There were people everywhere; some one’s legs in the corner, an arm here, a group of cousins standing to one side. But for you and Harry, who were entwined on the couch, you would think that it had just been the two of you. There was a hint of a smile on his face as he looked down to where your head rested on his shoulder, looking for all the world like neither of you would ever move.
Niall: You stared at the black and white photograph in your hands, the paper shaking back and forth slightly. You could just make out the shape in the grainy image and it had your heart racing. You could hear Niall’s excited intake of breath as he looked over your shoulder, and his arm encircled your waist, pulling you closer. This was the first time you’d been able to see a picture, and even though you were slightly terrified, there was no mistaking the utter joy you felt at the sight of your baby-to-be.
