More Than Words

Chapter Eleven

Another ordinary boring day, I was in my car with Manong Jeric, while Karen is making her way the set, she said she'll be late cause she have to make sure Xander is okay before she leaves because it will be a busy day, she might be go home late. Interview, taping and meet up with my fans and Stacy, there are so many things to do.

I just wandered my thoughts as I was looking at the window. It's a long road with a gloomy weather, makes me feel more gloomy inside.

Suddenly a loud music caught my attention.

"Oh giliw ko miss na miss kitaahh

Sana'y lagi kitang ka sama ahh "

But what really caught more of my attention is Manong Jeric's voice, singing along with the song.

"Oh giliw ko miss na miss kita ahh

Gusto ko sanang makayakap ka aaahh"

I took deep sigh, "Manong Jeric, can you change the song?"

He looked at me through the rear view mirror and give a sly smile, "Okay!" then change for the next song.

"I miss you, ohh ohh..

It'scrazy to pretend that Idon't

think of you.

The more this feeling just seems

to grow and grow."

Napakunot noo sa narinig kong kanta, "Manong, next song po."

"Okay!" he smiled again then changed it.

"All I hear are rain drops,

falling from the roof top.

Oh, baby tell why you have to go.

Cause this feeling just won't go away.

And I, I'm officially missing you.."

I shook my head in my disbelief. "Manong pwedeng pakipatay na lang po ng music nyo."

"Bakit?" he looked at me, "Sayang naman, ganda pa naman ng mga kanta. Nag effort pa naman akong i-download tong mga toh."

I was shocked, "Seriously?!" Manong Jeric is giving me a head ache. I swear! I shook my head, took a deep breath and looked at the window.

"Bakit di mo na lang kasi sya puntahan sa sa school nya?" sabi ni Manong Jeric.

"It will cause a huge commotion in her school she wouldn't like that." I said, still looking outside.

"Eh di puntahan mo sa dorm, alam mo naman yung lugar eh, di ba kaw pa naghanap nun."

"No boys allowed sa dorm na 'yun." I said and sigh.

"Ehhhhhhh... di tawagan mo sya! May number ka naman nya diba?"

"I accidentally deleted her number."

"Pero memorized mo!"he said, he just won't stop it. I looked at him through the rear view mirror, shook my head and rolled my eyes.

"Dandan.." nagsalita ulit sya, "Ano ba talaga ang problema? Halos mag iisang buwan na kayo hindi nag-uusap at nagkikita ni Maris simula nung umalis na sya sa condo mo, alam mo bang lagi ka nyang kinakamusta sa akin? Akala ko ba mahal mo sya, pero bakit pakiramdam ko iniiwasan mo sya."

I looked at Manong Jeric, as I was trying to keep myself together. "That's the reason why I have to stay away from her, dahil mahal ko sya." I took a deep breath, trying to keep my emotions inside. "For years, I've been living a life full of lies and pretending. She's only thing that is true in my life. Pero alam ko I'll be no good to her, I'm too old for her. Masasaktan ko lang sya."
