Clark's POV
It was dark out now in Metropolis and a little windy as Mia and I walked over toward the coffee shop across from the Daily Planet. It was just the perfect night for having a walk. The city was quite beautiful at night with all of its city lights way different from when I was in Smallville.
"The city is very beautiful tonight." Mia said suddenly as if reading my mind. I turned to see Mia looking at me and her hair fluttered in the wind in way a model's hair would in a photo shoot. As I looked into Mia's big brown eyes it was as if they sparkled under the city lights making her look even more beautiful. When I first saw Mia it was like love at first sight. She made my heart race the day I first saw her. Then the next day she made my heart race again when I saw her. I have a feeling she will make me feel this way everyday. That is a feeling I would not mind to experience all the time. I know it is early to say this, but I know that Mia is the one for me.
"Looks like that's the coffee place up ahead." Mia said pulling me out of my thoughts. "You okay Clark? You been quiet this whole walk."
"Oh, I was just thinking."
"Hopefully it's nothing bad to think that hard and long on." Mia said joking a little.
"Nope. All good things." 'Yeah, like how beautiful you look tonight.' Is what I wanted to say.
Mia and I finally reach the coffee shop called, 'World's Finest Coffee'. As soon as you first walk in the delicious sweet smell of coffee brewing hits you nostrils making your mouth water for a cup of coffee. I looked around the shop and notice it only had two customers in here tonight which I was happy about so Mia and I can have some form of privacy.
We went up to the counter and ordered our drinks. Mia had gotten a medium hot chocolate with whip cream and I got my regular coffee. After we ordered we took a seat and waited for our order to be called.
"I know it is a little too late to admit this but I'm not really a coffee fan." Mia said.
"Really? Then why did you agree to come here with me?" I asked. I would have went anywhere she wanted me to go if she said so.
I saw how she sheepishly fiddle with her fingers. "I-I just wanted to be with yo-I mean get to know you." She said embarrassed. I was about to say something until our order was called. "I'll get it." Mia said and quickly left the table to get our order. While she walked away I couldn't help but watch her hip sway as she walked away. 'Man, did her butt look good in those jeans.' I thought as I stared at her.
Mia's POV
When I heard Clark and I's order being called it was like being saved by the bells. I quickly got up and made my way over to the counter to get my order to save myself from further embarrassment.
I grabbed our drinks making my way back over to Clark. I turned to see him staring at me just like he was checking me out? He had that same look my uncle had on Christmas when he saw the last piece of fried chicken.
"I hope you weren't staring at my butt when I went to get our order." I said without thinking putting the drinks down. I gasp after what I said and looked over at Clark wide eyed and embarrassed. "I-I'm so sorry, Clark. I can't believe I just said that."
Clark looked at me with his cheeks tinted red. Mines probably would have shaded just as red if it weren't for my dark complexion. "I-oh, It's okay if you are only speaking the truth."
I then look at Clark and turn my head sideways a little. "So, you were staring at my butt?"
Now Clark's eyes widen. "I-I...well no...yes. I-It's not like you can't miss a butt like yours." Clark blurted out. His eyes seem to widen a little more and his cheeks seemed to have grown redder. Clark and I just stared at each other in shock and embarrassment in what was going on.
