"How can Superman do this? Who gave him the authority?"

"I think he did what was necessary. The man had planned bombs through out the area and said that if he removed his finger from the button it will trigger the bomb."

"I said it time and time again, but no one would believe me. Someone with that much power is not 100% good."

"Superman did not intentionally want to hurt that man. He did what he thought was necessary."

"It was either that man or us. We would have been dead if it wasn't for Superman."

"Superman is not judge, jury, and executioner. He should be held accountable for this."

Clark had just rolled out of bed from a sleepless night, going back and forth on different news channels all talking about the same thing that happened yesterday. Some were positive things about him and there were plenty of negative comments on this. 'Was there a better way to approach this? Could I have done it differently?' Last night these thoughts kept Clark's mind occupied to the point that he couldn't even sleep over this. He even thought about Mia's reaction to this. She seemed conflicted not sure what to think. It broke his heart a little to see her expression when she arrived at the scene. This may even be worse than the case in Africa.

It felt like every time someone needed Superman he had to be cautious how he enforced the the legal and correct justice without making it look like his own sense of justice.

As Clark sat on the couch watching the news he heard someone knock at the door. He looked through the door using his x-ray vision to see who it was. He saw his girlfriend Mia standing in front of the door dressed in her work attire.

"Clark, its me Mia." Mia said as she knocked on the door again.

Clark smiled at the sight of Mia, making him feel a little better. He got up and put on his glasses as he made his way over to the door. "Mia." Clark said as he opened the door.

"Clar-" When Mia saw Clark opened the door she was met with a very toned and shirtless Clark Kent. Mia just looked at Clark up and down. The whole time they have been together she had never been blessed with the opportunity to see Clark shirtless. She knew Clark was muscular, but she did not know he was that muscular. She wanted to run her hands down his-

"Mia, what are you doing here this early? Usually you be at work by now." Clark said as he pulled out his phone seeing that it was 7:30 a.m.

Clark's voice snapped Mia out of her sexual dazed. "Clark, I...uhm...came over to see if you were alright. Yesterday we did not talk much since...since the shooting." Mia said lowly focused back on the subject at hand. Mia felt like Clark shut her out as soon as they got home. Like he was keeping something from her.

"Oh, its nothing. I guess I am a little shaken up about what happened." He said as he let her in.

Mia looked around his apartment until her eyes landed on the TV.

"Superman needs to be held accountable for this act of injustice. The man has to deal with the fact that he was handled in a brutal manner and has to live with it for the rest of his life."

"John, I see what you are saying, but don't you think the man had it coming or that it was necessary? Some of the citizens of Metropolis think so."
