The wind blew against Mia's face, her arms wrapped tightly around Clark's neck as he soared through the clouds to their unknown destination.

However, Mia did not care where they were going. The love of her life was alive once again and here he was holding her in his arms. Words could not express the joy and relief Mia was feeling in her heart.

Suddenly Mia felt Clark's speed come to a slow pace as he began to descend slowly onto the ground.

Mia looked down to see a wide range of green crops as far as she could see. "We're in Kansas?" She asked as Clark lowered them to the ground. Mia looked to see that familiar house she has not stepped into since Clark's funeral with an old barn a few feet behind it.

"You brought us here?" Mia asked as she and Clark looked toward the house he grew up in. "You remembered?"

"This is home." He answered now looking towards her with a small smile.

Mia looked at Clark a bit surprised. "You spoke?"

Clark looked down at her surprised by that comment. "Did I not before?"

"No-I mean yeah. It's just...I thought you would have broken speech like some kind of Frankenstein's monster or something." Mia confessed.

Clark just laughed. "Seriously, Mia? I don't look like a monster. Do I?"

Mia laughed and shook her head. The laughing died down as Mia stared at him with a serious expression. "Mia, what's wrong?" Clark asked in concern.

Mia felt the burning sensation of tears in her eyes. Without answering him she just laid her head on his chest once more and wrapped her arms around his waist. Clark didn't demand an answer, just wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. "I missed you so much," Mia whispered. Clark's eyes closed for a moment resting his head on top of her rubbing circles of comfort on her back. He knew she was hurting from his death. "It was hard...going on without you... After the person you love is gone you realize just how much they impacted your life." Mia said as a tear fell from her brown eye.

Clark removed his hands from Mia's waist and placed them on her shoulders. "Mia look at me." Mia slowly looked up at him with a watery-eyed tear-stained face. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." He said, placing his hands on her wet cheeks looking in her teary eyes. "Don't cry. Okay?"

Mia's eyes fluttered close as Clark placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Okay." She said softly.

"I love you," Clark smiled.

"I love you too," Mia replied with a smile as well. Clark pulled Mia close to him, placing his lips against hers. Wrapping her arms around his neck and standing on her toes Mia deepened the kiss wanting this moment to last forever.

Pulling away from the kiss Mia stared into Clark's blue eyes before turning toward his childhood home.

"Come on. Let's go inside." Clark smiled as he held Mia's hand letting her guide him toward the home. Mia wrapped her arm around his resting head against his shoulder while they walked up to the porch.

Clark's gaze moved around the property with memories of his past sinking in. From the old barn where he used to help his dad feed the horses to the swings set he used to sit on every day after school brought a wave of motion to him.

"You alright, Clark?" Mia asked, noticing Clark stopping on the porch. The old wooden steps creaked when they both took a step onto the porch.

Clark looked down toward Mia. "I never thought I would be back here." He explained. "The night...the night of my death I thought I would never see this place again...It's an overwhelming relief just standing here." Mia rubbed her thumb against Clark's hand in comfort. Clark gave her a small smile as he led her inside the home.
