Bruce raced the Batmobile through the woods to his batcave to see where the truck carrying the weapon had gone to. He was grateful he put a tracking device on it. He had a feeling that someone (a.k.a Superman) would be there to intervene.

Once inside the Batcave he quickly made his way to the computer typing away in search for the location of the weapon. After a few moments he was locked onto it. The weapon, the Kryptonite, was located at LexCorp Research Park.

Bruce then made up in his mind a plan on how he was going to get it. The solution to take down Superman once and for all.

The Next Morning

Mia's POV

The only sounds heard in the office was fingers hitting keys, papers being printed and the roar of occasional thunder.

I sat at my desk having a hard time thinking of what I was going to write for today's article. It was a simple short article since nothing much has happened that was news worth. It was an article about the community fair coming up soon and the people that will be entering the contest at the fair. Although the task was simple, I still had a hard time writing it, well more like focusing on it. All my thoughts went back to Bruce and that unexpected kiss. Since when did Bruce have feelings for me? I always thought that it was a one sided thing. I have to shamefully admit it was a great kiss, but those feelings I had before are gone. He waited too long to have the same feelings I used to share for him. If it was before I met Clark I would have returned the kiss without hesitation. (Well I would have hesitated from the shock that Bruce Wayne actually kissed me.)

Now everything has changed now. That change came when Clark came into my life. He is a good man. To me Clark is a big softy always trying to do what is right and he is not afraid to stand up for what is right. He's also nerdy, awkward at times, and he's a gentleman. The way he looks at me makes me feel special. He looks at me like no other man has. When I first saw those beautiful blue eyes I knew that this man would be apart of the next moments of my life.

I look up from my computer getting a glimpse of Clark working on what I am assuming is his assignment. As I look at him I thought back to last night at how he walked out wanting to confront Bruce. I knew Clark would not hurt him because it was in his nature not to resort to violence which I appalled him for.

As if feeling my eyes on him, he looks up from his computer and looks me in my brown eyes. He gives me a small friendly smile and continues to back to his work. Clark said last night he does not fault me for the kiss and Bruce finding out his secret, but I can tell that it still bothered him.

I tore my eyes away from him and tried to finish my assignment at hand so I can go on an early lunch. After working for a few moments I hear the clicking of heels make there way past my desk to Clark then the clicking sound stops.

"Clark, there something you might want to see." I look over to see Lois Lane bent over beside Clark speaking lowly to him as she pointed to the TV. I turn my attention from the two and started to watch the TV. It was Senator Finch on the news with the headline that read 'Senator Finch Press Conference'. I looked over at Clark who was staring at the screen with concern and curiosity. I notice that Lois looked from the TV to Clark with concern written on her face as well. I looked away from her and focused my attention back to the Senator.

"...what's good in the democracy? Good as a conversation not a unilateral decision..." The camera then showed a man in a wheelchair. It was the same man that was on the news a while back for vandalism on the Superman statue. What the heck is going on?
