Trigger Warning!!!

MARY LAKE

"This is so unfair Tom. How could you buy Ice-cream for the H2 and two weirdoes without buying for me?" Kaden asked pouting at Tom who smirked at him.

That was the nickname the school gave us. Since they couldn't understand why the H3 was moving with me, a freak and Rose who automatically became one for been my friend, they named us the weirdos.

We were all sitting in the school cafeteria for lunch and the boys were getting revenge on Kaden for tricking him about something they refused to tell us.

It has been a week since Tom kissed me on the forehead. We had gotten closer than before even though we hadn't talked about it. Still, I felt connected to him more than ever before.

"That is what you get for tricking me out of bed early in the morning," Tom said and stuck his tongue at Kaden. We all laughed while Kaden murmured "pussy".
The bell rang and everyone rushed to their various classes

"I hate calculus" Paul murmured.

"You hate school Paul not only calcus," Tom said as we all rushed to class. Well, they rushed to class but I walked to class with Tom.

I was about to enter the class when I felt like easing myself.

"Oh... I n-need t-to g-go t-to t-the t-toilet" I said.

Tom stretched his hand to collect my school bag as he nodded and entered the classroom.

"T-thanks," I said.

Walking to the toilet, I used the moment to enjoy the silence since most of the students were in their class. I was about to enter into the female toilet to do my business when someone dragged me by my hair into the dark room, it was once the janitor closet but it hadn't been opened for years. The bulb had long been removed and everywhere was dark I could hardly see a thing.

"Whddrrwhoiggssstfssthat?" I was scared for my life. I couldn't even form a normal sentence not that I could do so on a normal day but at least people will understand me.

Trying to calm myself down since the person refused to say a word. I mean who kidnapped someone and said nothing?

"W-who i-is t-that?" I asked the person but I heard nothing. The person stopped holding me and I heard footstep moving backwards until the person open and shut the door locking me in the room.

"D-don't l-leave m-me i-in t-the d-dark" I shouted and getting nervous. The fact that the person was with me was more comforting than being alone.

"H-hello" I heard nothing.

"W-who is there?" Using my hand to trace the wall to the door.

"H-hell....S-shit" I wasn't a fan of bad words but I couldn't help it as I slipped on something which triggered the tears that I had been keeping at bay.

I was about to stand up when my hand touched something hairy and soft.

"M-maybe i-it's a d-duster," I said trying to calm myself down I couldn't afford to start shivering it would only make me immobile.

I took some deep breath as I stood up again only to step on something soft.

The tears were freely flowing on their own and the urine was long forgotten. I kept stepping on things as I moved forward.

Taken a deep breath I kept tracing the wall until my hands touched the door. I raised my hands and cleaned my eyes with my arm. I couldn't use my palm they felt silky and wet from the things I touched.

"M-maybe t-the d-dusters a-are w-wet," I said to no one in particular.

I opened the door and sighed in relieved as I saw the bright light. It was as if I was once blind but now I could see. I didn't want to look back to be sure if they were dusters but, I did it anyway. I had guessed what those hairy things were but I needed to be sure. I needed to be sure it wasn't.

What I saw as I opened the door and allowed the rays of light into the room made me gasped in fear.

Dead Rats.

Bloody dead rats.

They were scattered across the areas of the room by someone who wasn't in a hurry. I gagged as I emptied all the food in my stomach.

I heard the shout, I heard the wailing but my brain couldn't process who or where it was coming from. It was when people started rushing in that I realized I was the one shouting, more like wailing.

"Oh my God!"

"I am going to vomit,"

"Who did this?"

The students kept shouting, asking me questions that I couldn't answer some people rushed out of the restroom to called the teachers.
I stood frozen, shouting at the top of my lungs as I stared at the dead animals.

Poor souls.

I did guess right though.

I had guessed what the hairy things were and I was right.

I was really right and I didn't want to believe it.
